Ate here on a Saturday evening around 5:00. We were able to get seated right away with a party of six, although within an hour the place was very busy. Our server was very accommodating and polite. The food wasn’t the best Italian I’ve ever...had. The red sauce is a little odd. My pizza was good. My husband did not care for the spaghetti and meatballs. I had the tiramisu for dessert and it was delicious. My friend ordered the cannolis which she also enjoyed. We enjoyed the music that played during the evening and the inside has a lovely ambiance. We would probably eat here again.More

could be a good place but management has to step up and do their job. Now the salad was fine but the lasagna was cool even to the touch. Had to get it reheated. Meatballs were fine,pasta was mushy. no we did not get mixed...drinks had soda instead. can>t hurt coke. no dessert as we did not feel like eating anything else. Server was Ok. If I see a good review later we will come back to try it again.More

Okay, my wife and I celebrated our 26th Anniversary Tonight at Longo's with a few family members.It was not a good visit.First issues was the drink my wife ordered was a Sea Breeze which was absolutely miserably made.A different drink was was decided on to...replace it and it was good.Then the fact that we waited more then a half hour for anything to be brought out after that was a bit annoying.We had to ask for bread which took several minutes to arrive.Finally when the salads arrived we were all very hungry and finished them enviously. After a while we had our entrees start to arrive. Myself and another gentleman asked for the beef tips special which came with mushrooms and a sauce on Penne. I was as unappealing as could be to look at what we were served.Dark and stark - no presentation at all and believe me this needed some type of help to make one want to eat it.My wifes and her sister's Lagsagna was not hot and was sent back to the kitchen. After at least 10-15 minutes later the waitress returned with a new order for both ladies.My wife's dish had a major difference in the size of the portion of Lagsagna and it was indeed quite a bit less.My wife waited for grated cheese after she asked about it took a long time for the waitress to bring it. This fell quite short of our other experiences here at Longo's and the timing was awful - our anniversary dinner was a flop. I do have to mention that we were given a complimentry dessert pizza for our troubles. Howevery wife was still hungry after dinner and I was an unhappy husband. It’s Saturday night and the place was busy. BUT, the service was horrible. I watched as tables sat for 10 minutes without being bused while people were standing and waiting out the door: We ordered a salad to share and eggplant Parmesan. The drinks and...salad came relatively quickly although the waitress came back and asked me what I ordered to drink after I already told her. We waited forever for the eggplant and my husband asked the waitress where it was. She said: your order is next. I watched the orders coming out of the kitchen - the food never came. We had to leave for a party. The owner said: if you were in a rush, why did you come here to eat? WRONG ANSWER. We sat down at 7:30 and by 8:20 hadn’t gotten our main course. Really? And...when I went to the rest room, two empty toilet paper rolls. My waitress was standing outside the bathroom and I asked her if she could give me some. She opened a new package and gave me 1 tiny roll. I offered to put another in the bathroom but she refused to give me an additional one. Ridiculous. No matter how good the food is - not worth the service.More

We went here based on reviews. A lot of people like the food. And let me say the food was good when we finally got it. We were two couples with two kids. I ordered the littles food and it came somewhat promptly. Then we...ordered drinks. When they took a while we were told there was a reason. We ordered food and got our appetizers somewhat promptly. Then we waited for our food. And waited and waited. We got asked by one waitress of she could wrap things - which would have been nice except that we hadn't gotten our entrees yet. Our waitress was not checking in with us. By this time The kids had had it. The least the restaurant could have done was offer to comp something for the wait. We had read that this could be a problem. It is. The food is great if you have the time and patience to wait for it. But be warned, you will wait.More

Longo's Restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We made a 7:30pm reservation on a Saturday night and our table was waiting when we got there and we were seated promptly. It has a family style atmosphere. Everyone in the restaurant was casually dressed and all the...items on the menu were moderately priced. There wasn't a large selection of items on the menu but all of our dishes what was served was plentiful and cooked perfectly.The pasta was al dente, the pizza had a thin crust with just the right ratio of toppings and the salads were fresh. The restaurant encourages sharing dishes. A great spot for a delicious meal in a comfortable Italian meal in a relaxed setting.More

This is one of the best neighborhood restaurants in Westerly. You feel like part of the family when you go there. My favorite meal is the Pork Chop, Italian style. We usually eat at the bar. Jerry Longo is the owner and always acknowledges us...and makes us feel at home. Great menu items!More

Very good almost home cooked food at reasonable prices. Service was friendly and efficient. Stuffed pepper was excellent, the sole was light and tasty and the salad was fresh and crisp. Well done and keep it up!

There's only 4 places I eat spaghetti and meatballs, my grandmothers, my mother's, my wife's and Longo's! Great place, menu, staff and owner. A must try.

Great restaurant BUT gluten free pizza is NOT actually GF. They use wheat flour on the pan and when they stretch out the dough. Will not accommodate a real GF allergy. There is a another oven on the property they could dedicate but they don’t....Restaurant is very busy and too much so to do anything special to help with GF. That said, I do like all their salads and appetizers that are naturally GF. BUT REALLY MISS THE PIZZA! Wish they would accommodate.More
