Went in for a drink at the bar. Bar was full and our drinks were delivered to us. But took a VERY long time to get a refill on a soda. Never had this problem when at bar tables in the bar area before. The guy next to me got his beer refilled FAST. We had not been there in... More

Love to come for wine and appetizers. The grilled pizza is great! Thin and crunchy. Love the Potato Skins, Fried Clams and Clams Remington. We were disappointed in the Stuffies. Too much bread in the stuffing. Fun to sit at the bar.

We go her all the time and love it. Atmosphere is very homey. It's located in an odd inn , in winter the fireplace is roaring and it's a cozy place to enjoy a nice dinner. Food is great. Great appetizers. Outside deck for summer and a nice bar to meet friends and grab a drink .

On this visit we were going to sit at the bar. It was busy and loud however so we went into the dining room instead. The area is sort of old english feeling and comfy.

Although the restaurant was not full at all (probably 20 people max in the main dining room, deck was pretty full though) service was unusually slow. Upon delivering our cocktails, I proceeded to place our order only to then be told they had run out of swordfish the night before. I then ordered Baked Stuffed Shrimp only to be told... More

We have always wanted to go to the Remington House as we have a love of historic homes. We finally indulged our interest last night and we will definitely return in the future. The food was delicious and the portions large enough for boxed left overs. Our entrees were the Remington Steak (succulent and seasoned perfectly), Seafood Fruit de Mere... More

Wow, what a treat. I love coming to historical places and eating. Looking around the room gave a feeling of how things used to be with a touch of modernization. Our waiter was very friendly and had a personality, something that is hard to find in a chain restaurant. He took the time to explain their menu and suggest a... More

You must check it out. Very cozy and comfortable inside. Food is all pretty good. Bar chairs are the only negative. Too high therefore, uncomfortable.

Went for dinner on a Friday evening. Not too crowded . Wait staff inattentive as we sat for dinner. Long wait for drinks and far longer wait for someone to take our food order. I had swordfish which was literally inedible. My wife had a pasta dish and was barely ok.... mine, BTW was taken off the bill. Horrible experience.... More
