Reluctantly, we ate at the restaurant attached to the hotel. To my surprise, we had a great meal with an energetic bar scene. The food was delicious! We shared ribs, arugula salad and trout! We loved every bite.

Nice restaurant for a quick bite. Food was good but the place was very noisy. We arrived around 6pm and the place was hopping and almost impossible to hear each other talk. Good location near the airport and great parking. One gf beer selection that was a "poor" choice given the recent explosion in great gf beers.

Hi Fay K, thank you for taking the time to share the details of your recent experience. We do often hear that the tavern gets noisier during peak periods. The 30 foot ceilings and all the brick sometimes add to the noise level---definitely one of the drawbacks of our 100-year-old building? Thank you for the feedback on the GF beer... More

We had great oysters and appetizers at this restaurant/bar yesterday yesterday before our adult daughter's flight. When the bill came I wasn't very happy -- there was a $22.50 discrepancy between what I thought I should pay and what they thought I should pay. Normally this is where a good experience unravels -- however, here, then next day they very... More

A very cozy, energetic restaurant. The food and service was excellent. We both had the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. We would definitely return if we are up on the area again.

While it is attached to the Hilton Garden Inn, it does not feel like a hotel restaurant. The food was excellent. We were particularly impressed with the busboy, Abhi, who handled the whole restaurant and we learned from the manager that he had several additional duties as well. He was very thorough and efficient. Thou fit took a while, it... More

Thank you dlcurrin, for all the complements and recognizing Abhi's efforts. Did you know our building used to be the administrative offices of a former factory back in 1918, called the RI Malleable Iron Works. The hotel was built back in 2002 with all the bricks from the demolition! We have a unique place here! Abhi and the staff look... More

Last month I flew out of Providence and thought I'd give it a try in the search for the best lobster roll ever. If you like chunks of lobster look no further. Not the shredded kind that looks like tuna salad. This month I'm trying the clam chowder. Awesomeness in my mouth. Great flavor, fresh, nice chunks of clams. Great... More

Sandymrs, the staff was thrilled to hear that you named our lobster roll- "the Best". That is truly a complement-- we are the Ocean State. Happy to hear that your enjoyed the NE Clam Chowder too and that you will be returning for another lobster roll. We do feature the lobster roll year round here! More

We were all very happy with our choices. My husband especially loved the short ribs with baked mac and cheese. My girlfriend and I had the seafood casserole, delicious! The calamari was also excellent. Iron Works is a great choice when you are arriving or leaving the airport.

Was staying at attached hotel. Definitely not like any other hotel restaurant, had its own charming image loved the rustic but clean/modern ambience. Restaurant was busy, host seated me immediately. The menu had great selections, my server Cassie was attentive and had great recommendations on food and pairing beverages. I started with bacon scallops they were great. bacon was crisp... More

Great ambiance and food. Service excellent. Waitress got Manager who, in turn, gave us a wealth of information about directions, parking and historical information about where we were going as well as the Ironworks Tavern itself. Perfect stop

Thank Rita H
