New Englad Chowder was horrible

We went there for dinner with a friend. Little necks were good size but lacking any flavorl. New England chowder was horrible. It was like warm milk, did have a ton a clams but I found one small piece of diced potatoe and that was it. It had absolutely no flavor and was as thin as water. Stuffie was overcooked; clam cakes were very brown and over cooked; Crab cakes were also very dark brown and overcooked. They did not have steamers or oysters rockerfeller. All in all the only descent thing I can say is the waitress was nice but the hostess had no personality. This used to be one of my favorites before Covid but I will never go again. The bill for three people was over $120 and definitely was not worth it. I had to go back to the hotel and get some snacks as I was still hungry. I only ate the chowder, the men ate everything else. They would have shared with me but i hate overcooked/burnt food.

Great Oysters

We ate here with our daughter and a friend of hers that was vegetarian and the staff was so accommodating with everything served! My husband had been a bit disappointed about the oysters at other places we'd gone during our time in the area but here he loved them so much that he ordered another dozen! The seafood cavatappi was absolutely delicious and plenty of it so my daughter enjoyed it the next day as well (LOL). The Oyster Po' Boy was good and I'd even better than some I've tasted on the Gulf Coast (my daughter reluctantly gave me a bite of hers). We will definitely go back next time we're in Narraganset.

a great place to eat with a good menu and the food is outstanding

It can be hard to get into and on the weekends they have music and so the line is huge I love the portugese clams and the clam chowder. My wife likes the lobster roll and chowder as well. You have to arrive early to get a seat but it seems to work out. the cars are parked up and down the road. If you like calamari you will love it here. The staff is fast and take good care of the customers. The food does come out hot and it is fresh made. It is a really nice place to spend a few hours on the back deck when the music starts. You will like it. Adults only come here. It is a real bar scene when it gets going.

Sweet Deal not honored

Purchased sweet deal just before COVID pandemic. Called restaurant two times and left message to see if they were honoring deal when they reopened. Never heard back. Unfortunately my day off is Monday and restaurant was closed on Mondays for awhile. Sweet deal did expire and again called restaurant to see if they would honor it, again no response. Finally was able to get there recently on a Monday and was told they were not honoring it, the owners honored them up until Labor Day. Was only good for the amt I paid $25. Would be good customer service to maybe respond to messages and also better customer service to post to website that deals would only be honored until Labor Day. I realize restaurants are struggling, but so aren’t customers. Hadn’t been out to a restaurant and was looking forward to the good seafood and atmosphere I’d enjoyed there in the past, making the trip from east bay well worth it. Disappointed and will Try one of the many other seafood restaurants closer to home next time.

Disappointing Experience

I don’t think I’ve ever written a review in my life but I had such an unfortunate experience I want others to be aware. There are many other amazing restaurants to support in Narragansett that have handled this situation with the upmost customer service. While I totally understand that it is a lot for restaurants to be coordinating reopening efforts and I was looking forward to supporting two ten, I am more than a bit disheartened and turned off by the experience we had. I had two upcoming reservations for this weekend and next week and have cancelled both. To start, when booking the reservation, it asked for my seating preference as well as if I would like to participate in the Happy Hour specials. I of course opted in to the Happy Hour offering, and scheduled my reservation at the appropriate time. I also selected high top seating as offered as an option, in order to sit on the back deck. When I got there, I mentioned this and was told to wait for ten minutes while they refused to seat us at any empty high top tables. The host handled it well and I felt bad for him, but the manager was incredibly rude about it (have had unfavorable interactions with her in the past- not a friendly person) and ten minutes after making us stand in the middle of the deck with no table came over and said they’d seat us as a favor but they don’t do preferences. If you don’t seat based on preference then do not ask me when I make the reservation or at least handle it appropriately and don’t be rude to paying customers who rearranged their schedule to support your business on opening day. Additionally, when we got to our table I inquired about the $6 martini/buck a shuck/half apps Happy Hour specials that I was asked if I wanted to participate in when I booked the reservation (and the whole reason I made an afternoon res instead of evening and changed my whole work schedule). The waitress was very flippant about it and simply said sorry were not doing that even though it was advertised. Again, I know this is a huge transition period and everyone is doing their best- but their best should at least still include some basic level of respect and proper customer service. Their reservation system should definitely be updated! Won’t return.

Not what it used to be

My wife and I have come here many times over the years and this has been our place to go when we want great seafood and cocktails...not anymore. The service has declined significantly and so has the food quality. My wife's Bloody Mary was a travesty of drinks, made with more spices, the wrong ones, than you can shake a stick at. My lobster Mac and Cheese had a fraction of the lobster it used to have but still sported that nearly 30 dollar price tag. The service was slow and our waitresses was a sour human being who clearly didn't want to be there. My advice: go elsewhere. This isn't worth your time anymore and they're are better restaurants nearby

Rudest Service I Have Received

DO NOT COME HERE - We called the restaurant and were told that there was an oyster deal from 4-6 on weekdays. When arriving at the restaurant the same person who answered the phone rudely told me the hours were from 2-4 and when I informed them what I was told on the phone I was condescended and told I was wrong. Though I was not able to experience the food otherwise, the staff attempted to make me and the rest of the group I was with feel as if we were below them and their other patrons. I wish the restaurant the best but a change of front of house staff may be in order. It was extremely rude and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Not as good as it used to be....

Not as good as it used to be. I ordered a bloody mary and sent it back, it was sooo over spiced and had no horse raddish in it. I love spicy food, so it was bad. My husband ordered lobster mac n cheese and in the past it was loaded with lobster but not now. They still charge $30 for it with half the lobster. I ordered a key lime martini which was ok but it used to be much better. Our waitress was short, rude and kept ignoring us. We finished our appetizers before we finally got to order our dinner and I had to grab her attention and ask to order our food. This used to be a favorite of mine but not so much anymore.

We sat at the bar as we did not make a reservation. The lady bartenders were nice but not informed about the menu., the beer selection had several listed as rotating selection and there was a Staff Favorite that they were unaware of what was what. The gentleman behind the bar, was amazing. He was able to answer our questions on the menu and made positive local selections. We had the stuffed clam as a starter and opted for fish tacos and a lobster roll with sides of clam chowder. The chowder was creamy and smoky and full of clams. The Lobster Roll looked very simple, but it was lobster perfection. The tacos were very soggy and that was the reason for the 4 star rating. Overall we had an enjoyable dinner

Great dinner!

We stopped by tonight and were able to be seated inside immediately. The windows were all open overlooking the marina, and there were plastic partitions between tables. Sam was a GREAT server, and we loved the tuna wontons to start, and then the Oyster Po Boy and Oyster Platter for mains. We even had dessert...the key lime pie and the fruit tart were stellar and I rolled out to the car, i was so full! Highly recommend this lovely restaurant!

EXCELLENT FOOD

Not sure if the service and super friendly waitstaff was better than the food or the other way around. Both were excellent. Happened upon last summer and made a trip for lunch during January. Just as busy as summer! Portions are huge and the entrees are fabulous. Lobster grilled cheese, lobster mac and cheese, lobster roll and so on. The waiter was so friendly and suggested items as well as made a few specials for us. Gave us some recipes to try. A definite stop where anywhere near.

We just had a wonderful dinner at Two Ten Grill! I have to admit, we were hesitant to go because of previous bad reviews. But, we had a good experience here before and thought we would give it another try. From the moment we walked in, we were promptly taken to our seats. (We had reservations.) It was a very busy Saturday night, but the service was excellent! All of our food and drinks were served in a timely manner and everything was hot and delicious. We had the pasta with seafood dish, and it had a lot of seafood, even lobster in big chunks! Our servers were polite, helpful and friendly. We couldn’t have asked for more! I am so happy that we chose Two Ten for our dinner tonight! Keep up the good work!

Great location, Great food!

My husband and I live nearby but had not been to Two Ten. We sat outside on the upper deck on a beautiful day with scenic views of the boats on Salt Pond. That was wonderful in itself, but then we ordered food. My husband had a stuffie which was filled with deliciousness! He also had a bowl of New England clam chowder which had the chef’s own personal twist. If you ‘re looking to have truly authentic NE clam chowder,I would pass on that. We shared an order of oysters Rockefeller which were very good. The piece de resistance however was my meal, Big T’s Sacchetti, a melange of four jumbo shrimp, eight Truffle cheese ravioli (don’t think traditional square ravioli) tossed in scampi sauce accompanied with a baby spinach and heirloom sauté, and served with yummy toasted bread. It was outstanding! Judging from our first visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Great Fried Calamari and Raw Oysters

We really enjoyed the ambiance, the food and especially the service by Jackie - she was fantastic. The Calamari appetizer was amazingly delicious. We shared them and I loved my fish tacos - totally excellent. We order 6 oysters to begin with and I shared it with my husband and they were delicious. Cannot wait to visit RI again and enjoy the food at TwoTen!!!

Great service and location

We came across this restaurant and enjoyed it. What made it great was the service. We were disappointed that ribs are listed on the online menu and were not available. The waitress acted like they hadn't been for a while. I was disappointed in my fish tacos and said as much. The waitress Sarah was excellent in making it right. My husband was pleased with his meal. The mixed drinks were excellent. If Sarah hadn't been so good we might have given it a lower rating.
