Raita was like water and disgusting— could not eat it. Chicken vindaloo was more like chicken cacciatore, not bad quality ingredients, but devoid of any Indian characteristics. The food is delicious and well prepared. It is definitely authentic Indian food. The atmosphere is nice. The service is excellent and the prices are reasonable. This is on our favorites list because it is excellent in every way!
It's a great place, the outside of the restaurant is not nice, it looks more lie a bar....but once inside the decor makes it better, Food took a log time to get to us, the food was very good, specially the chicken tandoori and butter...chicken, yet one of the curries was sweet and we are not used to tasting it sweet, The rest was very good. You can tell it's made form scratch and freshly prepared for every table.More
The food here is so delicious that could beat any other Indian restaurant I have been to, i could feel the freshness in each dish that I tried here and the service is great as well. Highly recommended!!!
The luncheon buffet was wonderful; with a good selection of vegatarian and chicken dishes (chicken masala and tandoori chicken). The masala chicken was so tender; it melted in my mouth! Food was delicious, and at excellent prices.
I keep trying to like this place. My main complaint is that the palak paneer is sweet. It is not supposed to be sweet. It should have wonderful flavors. The dishes I've tried are bland (and sometimes too sweet) if they aren't spiced with chili....So, if you don't like it hot then you may be disappointed. The service has improved. It used to be very slow but now they are rather speedy, and you have to be ready to stop them if you want something. (For me, Maharaja was much better all around and less expensive but it is now closed.)More

Ate here this past winter and the food was excellent. Definitely will be going back to order off the menu again and will also have to go at lunchtime to try the buffet.

It was ok .. but being the only Indian restaurant around this area, it was unique. no spice and Indian food , doesn’t go together .. the kebabs can’t be sweet :( Even the lemon/basmati rice was dry :( I always like ala carte because...it is freshly made and hot .. sometimes buffet has a lot of items, but doesn’t taste fresh ... next time I wish we can try some alacarte dishes .. it was a ok experienceMore

I went with my family to the ocean and came up some how to this restaurant they are southern Indian style looking the service was good and the food was excellent will definitely go there again , the best masala dosa I had in long...time must visit placeMore

Great ambiance, excellent food and exemplary service. Visited the place over a weekend visit to RI and found this gem! The food served is delicious and is fresh, you can taste the freshness with each bite. The staff is very courteous and attentive. You won't...go wrong with anything you order on the menu and definitely try the chef's specials. We went back for dinner on all the nights we were there. Being from Boston, I can say no Indian restaurant is as good and I wouldn't mind just driving there to dine at Bombay flames. I hope you continue the quality of food and service!!More
