Great pizza and subs.

I work at the waterfront about 2 miles away. Call in for lunch to go 20 minutes before arriving. Food is great! Staff is great and noy shy to learn your name. Cool!

Best pizza I had in a long time

First time trying this pizza today at a pizza party at work I’m so amazed that I had to write a review .let me tell u I’m hooked already I’m in love with the crispy chewy wheat crust not greasy and u don’t feel weighed down the sauce and the cheese full of flavor the bbq chicken, all American, pesto is delicious I don’t think there is a bad pizza coming from this place I will definitely be back so glad I didn’t call out of work today lol I’m a pizza lover so glad I finally found a five star pizza place in town I’m so happy 😀

Pizza to go

Grabbed takeout and hit up the buffalo chx, 4 veggie, and a cheese. We ate it in the airstream and loved it. It was recommended by our Australian captain from an early boat tour. The setting was very “cheers” and i would have loved to grab a beer while we waited. Too bad, next time!

I love the great crust chewy and crisp at the same time

family owned which I love. They always seem to care more than a chain with people who just have a job. The service is better,the dough is made in house,the toppings are put on with care and lots of it. I love the cheese and peperoni which has been my staple for years but I also love the vegi pizza as the toppings are all fresh and not overdone so there is still a snap to the items and there is a good mix of vegi's as well. A nice clean place and they have parties for kids which are really nice. ask about them. seem like fun. good parking. It is a pizza place worth going to and they have take out a lot so they always are busy. A nice family place. It is a go to place.oh yes, the sandwiches are very good as well with a very nice selection.

Buffalo Chicken Pizza-Amazing!

Delicious take-out pizza!!! We got plain, vegetable, and buffalo chicken pizzas - all great (crust is wonderful) but the buffalo chicken was my favorite:-)

Make your own pizza party!

Two days ago, I had a great birthday party for my 5 year old granddaughter at West Main Pizza! When we arrived, we were directed to the quieter side of the restaurant, where a long table was covered and secured with a paper tablecloth and crayons. I had brought in my own themed papergoods (couple of banners and couple balloons, napkins, etc). Once the children had all arrived, they sat down and wrote their names, did art work etc. on the tablecloth! Soon the waitress/counter girl Cassidy arrived, with each child receiving their own small round pizza pan, with “West Main’s” signature wheat dough and sauce! Soon bowls of vegetables, meats and cheese arrived for the children to create their own! What a great time for all the kids! Everything was organized and timely, which was great because 4 and 5 year olds have no patience! While pizzas were in the oven, we played a couple of age appropriate games (hot potato, musical chairs, and freeze tag). Each child’s self created pizzas soon arrived to the table, and each child obviously enjoyed their Pizzas! After their fill, presents were opened, cake celebration and the party was finished. Each child took home their leftover creation in a pizza box! I thought it was perfect for the age group and there was no down time. Everything was in a timely manner! Food, as usual, was great! The waitress was wonderful, especially because she was not only attending to the party, but answering the phone orders, as well as waiting on the rest of the patrons! I always appreciate a young person with positive work ethics and Cassidy has that for sure! Great time had by all!

Pretty good

We visited this restaurant on our way out of Newport, heading back to Boston. I got the meatball sub toasted with provolone cheese and it was excellent. My younger daughter, Paulina, got the kids basket and really liked it. However, my wife got the herbed chicken salad and my other daughter got the chicken Caesar salad and both didn't really like it. I noticed that the pizza gets good reviews, so we ever go back, we will try it.

Quick Stop on Rt 114

Seemed to be a family restaurant as children were wiping down tables upon our entry at 11 am. No patrons but all inside were busy with smiles on their faces. Nice atmosphere. We ordered the Greek Pizza and BBQ Chicken pizza. I asked if the crust was made there and a woman told me yes and crust was whole wheat. We enjoyed our single pizzas and made our way with a carry-out box of left overs. We were told to order at the counter and the pizzas would be brought to our booth.

the pizza here is delicious. It's all about the crust and this place has a thick crust but crispy on the bottom. We ordered hot sausage and it had just the right amount of spice.

Best Pizza on the island

West Main Pizza in my own opinion has the best pizza on the island. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and great beer selection. My favorite is the big mac cal zone or the blue cow.

The pizza dough is often stale or over cooked which means it's dry. I suspect it's precooked and then warmed up. It's like eating frozen pizza.
