The donuts are good and a decent size. Where they could do a little better is on their ordering process. There is no way to know what donuts are available until you actually get to the ordering window. As there is only a single line,...I would suggest they have a list of available donuts somewhere along the line so as to help people make decisions before they get to the window and hold up the entire line while they individually pick out the 12 donuts they are going to purchase. Even a chalk board is better than the current situation. Knowing human nature this will not alleviate the entire hold up a the window, but at least people can’t say you didn’t try.More

Downhill fast; stopped making some favorites like coconut jelly sticks “because they were harder to make”. So now they also open at 9am, the world’s latest opening donut shop, and they stopped making any donuts that were hard to make. Laziness and taking customers for...granted. And I Was there before it opened and half my donuts already tasted stale so they must be making them the night before or whatever. All done with them.More

There are better choices for donuts in the area. Too greasy and not worth waiting in the line to purchase.

Worth the hype. Rhode Island has a lot tourist-y foods (pizza strips, dough boys, quarhogs, etc...) and some are better than others. Allies doughnuts are so so so delicious and worth the rave reviews. I especially liked the maple ones! Side note they take cash...and Venmo only!More

Bought a dozen plain donuts that were soaked in grease, like they were put in cold oil or grease. Had to wait forever for the guy to take the order. I wouldn't return here.

Best donuts. Worlds absolute worst service. Complete disregard for customer experience. Their whole operation is based on the fact that people should be lucky to have their donuts because they’re in high demand so we can give zero Fs about what our patrons experience when...they come here. In their defense I truly don’t know what their issue is - are they completely incompetent or are they self aware but don’t care? They have no problem creating a workflow where 1 customer is served 1 at a time with no sense of urgency. Even if you arrive 20 min before opening (during the week) you’ll find 20-30 people ahead of you. ...which if the business had any sense about them wouldn’t be a big deal. But they take 3-5 minutes to serve each customer because they assign 1 person to the checkout process. It’s insanity. So if there are 30 people ahead of you, you can expect to wait 1 1/2 - 2 hrs for a donut simply because they don’t care. They have the ability to create a more efficient process but they choose not to. Again either dumb or just a-holes. Not sure. Then to top it off, 5 min after opening they send someone around to tell the masses in line all the donuts they’ve already sold out of. Which are always the donuts that people went there specifically for. Unreal. How is that possible. Who is running this business? Mr Magoo? Who designed this workflow and thought it made sense? I’ve worked in retail for 20 years and I’d be embarrassed if this was what my customers experienced. Again - best donuts. Horrible, awful, terrible, infuriating service. Just so so bad.More

I definitely recommend going here. The line was a little long but moved along decently and it was worth the wait! The ones with the sprinkles/colored jimmies were the best!

Been there off and on over the years. The product has been off and on over the years. The one thing that has been on are the price increases. Went there this morning and had to do a triple take. They jacked the price up...by 3 dollars for a dozen donuts. 15 dollars? Now 25- 50 cents I probably would understand but these things have gone up according to my memory buy a total of 6 dollars in the past 2-3 years. I know town taxes didn't go up that much. They need to give an explanation for this. Makes you wonder whats really going on. You won't see me anymore. And on top of that, I bought these at 6 am and they were half stale.More

As always, I couldn't resist stopping for an afternoon snack. I knew the family would be jealous if they didn't get an Allie's donut of their own. What a delicious treat. No matter where you are in RI, Allie's is worth the ride!

I'm sure many would. Can't help you officially. I might politely suggest however, that if it's a concern...then donuts are not your food of choice...unless you are planning a cheat. Then one would probably suffice. 😉
