I have been going to this place for over 50 years. The food has always been good. Prices are reasonable. A friendly family run price. We even got to know one another on a first name basis. He would give my kids clamcakes to take...home. The owner use to work his butt off in a steaming hot kitchen to keep the food coming out good and fast.More
Saw a video of how much lobster is put in their lobster bisque and made the trip from central CT to check it out. What a disappointment. $8.00 for a CUP of flavorful but thin bisque with one small piece of lobster meat and little...tiny crumbs of lobster scrap.More
The clam chowder and lobster bisque were good, but served in little cardboard cups, my flounder sandwich was good obviously fresh fish, my wife's hot lobster roll she proclaimed was good, but kind of small and $25. Very basic bland calamari, with bland sauce. Seating...was outside on the street, no views at all. Might possibly eat there again it only after checking out the other restaurants in the neighborhood.More
The clamcakes where horrible and greasy like I have never seen. Unfortunely with this virus stuff going on I did not want to go back and get in line. We where very disappointed. Usually there are small bits of pepper in the clam cakes and...you could not even taste it. The owner is doing something different to the clam cakes, I have been eating here for years. Too greasy and they tasted different, horrible.More
Wow talk about customer service. I recently placed an order through DoorDash to pick up for my family. While the restaurant has been having issues with DoorDash (no drivers in the area or they arrive late) I can not say enough great things. The staff...was very friendly and the food equally as good. This will be our new go to spot.
Also while we took our food to eat at a nearby beach the restaurant had plenty of outdoor seating areas and I believe indoors as well.More
Very large portion of fish. Excellent and fresh. The red chowder was Delicious. The clam cakes seem to have gotten smaller than the original size. But overall I will always be loyal to Jimmy's seeing that I have been going there for over 40 years.
Stopped here for a quick bite while on vacation, went to the docks to purchase some fresh seafood and hit this spot before heading back to our rental. Take out lunch for 4 at the outside picnic tables ran me a little over $50 bucks....clam roll, and shrimp roll were both excellent! My nephew enjoyed his burger and fries as well. The older woman who took our order at the pick up window was not very friendly and could have been a bit more polite if not for that, would rate at 5 stars. Other than that, overall it was good and we would go back againMore

Hi Gigi I’m glad you enjoyed the food and very sorry about the women at window. I hope you and your family enjoy the rest of your vacation
