Newport Creamery has the best peppermint stick ice cream! Their Awful Awful Monday is pretty great, too - buy one AA, get one free. Good, friendly service. A must-do Newport tradition.

This was not the best ice cream I've ever had. I ordered the chocolate chip and it was basically vanilla ice cream with chips in it. Baskin Robbins blows it away.

Easy and good food for a family outing. Awful Awful worth the trip alone. Just careful as it can get busy fast.

Newport Creamery offers great family fare at reasonable prices. The burgers, done the Newport Creamery Way, are exceptional as are the Awful Awfuls (frappes). The raspberry ice tea is also a treat. My grand kids love it - especially the grilled cheese sandwiches. Not surprisingly, the ice cream desert options top the charts. Service can be pretty inconsistent. But, a... More

I've come here a few times to have lunch or dinner since my family was on a budget for the night. The food is always pretty bad....no other way to put it. It's just like a bad version of Denny's or IHOP but the ice cream is really the attraction. The milkshakes are delicious.

It's clean and a nice place. The ice cream bar looked inviting but we went for breakfast.... Although many people had Awful Awful (milkshakes?). It was typical diner fare. Not bad but nothing that stood out. The ham was solid. The omelettes were a little flat. Service was friendly.

Go to Creamery every time we're in Newport. Food is very reasonably priced. Service is excellent when it's not packed. Otherwise good. Usually get sandwiches. The spinach pie sandwich was great. And don't forget to get your Awful Awful!

Sort of a diner. Went for breakfast. Decent eggs, waffles, muffins. Quick service, no wait. Not exceptional but likely reliable though we only went once.

We come to the Newport Creamery every time we visit Newport. Not only are their milkshakes and ice cream off the chain delicious, but their comfort food is great too! The tuna melt is my favorite - I get it with American Cheese and the seasoned fries. Their club sandwiches are very good too!

We went for ice-cream. It was outstanding. The waffle cone was on a little bland side. Monday at 19:00 the line was almost out to parking lot.
