First and foremost the server was very incompetent and lack of knowledge how to present or how the menu order to be presented or explained to the customer and this as a customer is aware on how the food will be cooked and what was made of. I ordered the fried scallops knowing well enough how they should be prepared... More

The popcorn shrimp had just the right amount of spice, not to hot, served with blue cheese dressing. The fish sandwich was fabulous, nicely breaded on a grilled roll, perfect!

I have never written a review before in my 63 years of life but this was so bad I had to write. Just terrible food, high priced, and a bathroom so dirty it wasn't usable. The fish sandwich with a thimbleful of fish inside was caked with a thick crust. Baked beans and coleslaw ok but none of it worth... More

We stopped here on the recommendation of the hotel staff. We had Clam Chowder and Clam Cakes (also called: Clam Fritters and Clam Balls) both were very good. There was a good number of local patrons and the staff was friendly. Tables were tight and I don't know how they would handle a large group.

Sick of the crowds on Thames Street in Newport, hte sky high prices for mediocre, over blown food, slow service and no place to park? Come on over to Jamestown, RI, right across hte Newport Pell Bridge. About a 5 mile drive from the Newport waterfront to the Jamestown waterfront. Glory hallelujah, you can park, get a table and have... More

Our waiter was terrible, but it looked like all the other waiters and waitresses were great. The food was decent, but nothing spectacular. I had the scallop and bacon salad. Overall it was good, but the scallops were slightly undercooked. It was nicely presented.

My husband and I eat here several times a month and also take out-of-town family and friends. NEVER disappointing. Favorite is New England Seafood Au Gratin with lobster pieces, shrimp and scallops. It comes with two sides, including nice salad, as do most of the entrees. Pasta and seafood dishes are yummy too. Service is always friendly and responsive. Managers... More

We were there with a group with a small child and a baby and the waitress went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed - put us in a corner area so baby could be in a quiet space, brought small snacks for child with us who needed calories right away...the works. The food is... More

A good choice when in Jamestown. The food is fresh and service is good. My favorite is the lobster roll and fries.

This is not a classy restaurant, but very family friendly and even suitable for a casual date. We visited from the West Coast and found the scallop roll and blue cheese BBQ burger exceptionally good as well and the best fries I think I've ever had. Enjoyed soft shell crab and some yummy grapenut custard bread for dessert. Highly recommended... More
