Went with a group of friends for the first time. We were greased very cordially and the waiter was very friendly. Their portions were very big! I could not finish it ! It was a good experience and think I would go back once more.

We went for lunch and maybe that is why it was not as good as usual. Our server was good. We had the caldo verde soup, which was very good. The rolls were good as well. I had a fish dish, but it did not taste fresh. The sangria was excellent.

We had a wonderful (very filling) meal at Madeira. The pace is slower than many restaurants, so if you are in a hurry, skip this place. The food is cooked to order and is well worth the wait. Sometimes it is a good thing to slow down. Very friendly service and excellent food.

My family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren decided to treat me to this restaurant for Mother's Day. They gave rave reviews so I was quite excited. Whereas there were 12 of us going for dinner, they called ahead and made reservations for 3:00 pm. We all arrived a little ahead of time but were taken directly upstairs to a table. Within... More

One one us ordered the scallops. They were so dry that she sent them back. The second order was not any better. I think the scallops were not fresh at all. Never experienced dry scallops in all my dining years.

Came here the Tuesday after Valentine's Day to celebrate with my husband. The main dining room was not open but Al's Place next door was and they were still offering Madeira's Menu (they are connected). Food was delicious-Espetada A Madeirense (Beef Kabob) & Bif (beef) a Casa. We had the Chourico A Madeira for a starter, but I am not... More

There were 11 of us eating there. Our table was set beautifully. The suggested baby clam appetizers in white wine and garlic sauce started us off nicely. All of us ordered different entrees. The mariscada, shrimp mozambique, scrod, clams were awesome. The steaks were okay. Nothing like the seafood and fish. The sangria was very light and had no fruit... More
