The restaurant is closed due a covid 19 positive line cook. The lack of following CDC, Federal and state health guidelines. All business's are expected to protect employees and the public. As posted on "Andrews Bistro" face book...the infectious spread is blamed or attributed to...one line cook that is now being condemd and austrisied in the community. Business owners, especially restaurants have the onus to protect employeeys and there guests during these trying times. Shame on these owners for blaming and shaming a hard working hospitality professional. Your employee is not to blame for the lack of your business not following simple health guidelines. Shame!More

Dear Scott, Your narrative is farthest from the truth. It was not a line cook and we did not name the employee that was asymptomatic. Which means the employee had zero symptoms but was a carrier of Covid. And as far as following any/all Health...More

a very nice decor with nice seating and a great, knowledgeable staff from the bar to the server all first class. You had a feeling that they did care about the customers. the food was very good from the aps. to the main course and the...wine was really very good. The steaks were done just right and were just so tasty. The scallops my wife had were just outstanding and I did get to taste a few.A nice choice of sides that were all very good. Service was quick but not so much that you did get to enjoy each course without being rushed. A nice place for just a couple or for a nice small party for something special. A place you would want to go back to again.More

Went here with 2 other couples on a Saturday night. Server was great (Joe). Nice interior décor --overall a pleasant place. Most had the Mahi Mahi special-looked good. Jambalaya was just okay- -have had better. Fairly pricey for a strip mall restaurant. Drinks not cheap.

Dinner with girlfriends was terrific. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a young gentleman with a nice friendly demeanor. While sitting at the bar waiting for friends I was promptly waited on by a lovely bartender with a great smile. Once...we sat at our table we were waited on by the terrific, nice and knowledgeable waitress Jody. She was knowledgeable of the food and attentive to all of our dinning needs. She even watched out for us when we had an uninvited table guest sit down with us. The food was fabulous we had the steak tips with the delicious ravioli and the scallops with risotto was amazing. The whip cream and birthday candle truly was sweet and thoughtful when we couldn’t order desert due to being so stuffed. What a fabulous place to have a great meal in a nice relaxing environment with amazing service. Will go back often.More

The restaurant is a little deceiving from the front. The venue is quite large with much seating and 2 sit down bars . Decor is tasteful. Veal and eggplant both excellent. Beatrice was our bar server and she did a wonderful job. I would recommend...and will go back.More

This was my 3rd visit in the last 3 mo. & I have only praise for the delicious food selections, wait staff, ambience, etc. The last visit was on Thanksgiving Day. I was a little apprehensive this being our first time dining out on this...holiday. What a pleasant surprise! Yes, it was very busy but not hectic. Upon arrival the host, a very polite young man, brought us to our reserved table which I knew could not accomodate someone in our party. I told the host & he immediately set out to solve the problem & led us to another table within 10 min. My favorite server is Carolyn but she was working the back room. Nicholas was our very capable server. The stuffed mushrooms & crab cakes were very good but the calamari was a little tough. All the entrees were delicious. The Prime Rib was "the best ever had anywhere", The Surf & Turf, Shrimp Scampi & Baked Stuffed Shrimp were excellent. On my 2 previous visits the varied choices were very good. 3 visits, no complaints. We will definitely return.More

Ordered the duck special. The waitress did not ask how I wanted it done, so I assumed, incorrectly, that the chef knew how to cook a duck breast. Wrong! About halfway through, it was clear that the duck was over cooked. Normally, duck is served...medium rare, but this piece was well done. Not a total loss, but not as good as could have been. Mentioned the issue to waitress after the meal, but all the response was that she would tell the chef. Shame on me for not specifying medium rare. Be forewarned, don't assume the chef will cook your choice of meat properly, state your preference.More

Pleasantly surprised by this little restaurant, set back from the street. Great service and creative menu. Incredible dessert choices. Pomodoro sauce was not my favorite, but the Bolognase sauce was very good.

Have been to Andrews 4 times while working in the area, 5 minutes from my hotel, 3 great meals one dud. Their scallop risoto is fantastic, have a salad too as there are no veggies in the risoto. I also have had their chicken marsala,...again delicious. The only disappointment was one of their salmon dishes, the salmon didn't taste right, almost sent it back. It was acceptable but the quality of the other dishes, this didn't make the same grade. Service is good, would love to give 5 stars.More

First time going to Andrew's. Not sure I even knew it was there, on the side of a small plaza with a Dollar Tree on Mendon Road. Once inside, nicely decorated and definitely didn't seem like a strip mall restaurant. Best part of the restaurant...was definitely the food. My entree was excellent, and it seemed everyone else in our party liked their meal as well. Portions were good sized, and the pasta sauce was extremely good, one of the better sauces I've had in a restaurant. For starters, they brought us some really good bread and dipping oil. One odd thing was that the server said the first basket of bread was on the house - leading us to believe that if we asked for more, we would be charged. As our party size only allowed each person to only have a small cube that was about 2 bites, it was seemed odd to be limited. Not sure I've ever seen that before. Desserts were also very good. They brought out a dessert tray so you could look at most of the options. Not really much to report negative overall, besides the bread limitation, which wasn't great but not a huge deal. Not cheap, but not much more expensive than a Carrabba's or Bertucci's for italian dishes, and the food was so tasty that it was well worth a few extra dollars. In general, would highly recommend this place for a nice family dinner, a date night, or other options.More
