Just what you are looking for

Small and quaint is how I would describe L'Osteria. The food was very good and alot of choices for a small restaurant. The service was prompt and the atmosphere cute. You could sit outside as well.

This is by far the most authentic Italian food in all of Rhode Island. My family is from Italy and everything about L'Osteria just screams Italien from the friendly atmosphere to the amazing food. I recommend the gnocchi, but you really can't go wrong with anything. The staff there is just so nice and friendly and whatever you need, they... More

My husband and I had heard so many supposedly good reviews about L'Osteria that we decided to try it last Thursday evening. We were one of two couples - business was definitely slow. We ordered an appetizer of mussels. While the sauce they were cooked in tasted fine we were disappointed 1) in the small amount of mussels - maybe... More

now this is Italian at it's best. you can get veal, pasta, pork chops,my daughter loves the veggy dish which is huge. The wait staff is awsome and they love the job they are doing and it shows. If you go on a weekend try a reservation or go early as it will fill up. They only do dinner so everything they... More

We ate at the restaurant before going to the Park Theater in Cranston, which is only 5 minutes away. The restaurant's atmosphere is very nice, our waiter Jack was very helpful, and the large portions of food were very good. I suggest you make a reservation on a Saturday night because it's small, and filled up pretty fast while we... More

We look forward to our Friday nights at L'Osteria....to enjoy the best pasta fagoli since we had it in Italy, to find out the fabulous specials Chef Kevin has prepared, to see our favorite wait staff :Teresa, Jack and Arthur at the bar and to enjoy every delicious offering we have ever ordered. L'Osteria is probably our favorite Italian restaurant... More

Although small dining room (so make a reservation) food and service was excellent. We enjoyed a shrimp bruschetta which was tasty and just enough for the two of us. I ordered the pork osso bucco which was so tender did not require a knife. It was served with risotto and green beans cooked in butter, garlic, and chopped almonds. We... More
