The beaches are full of wonderful clam eateries. This is a good one, but more importantly, a fun memorable one...like an ice cream shoppe. Lots of them but you remember the good ones that happened to you when on vacation or just off the beach and hungry for a treat. Totally treat-worthy.

Love the clam cakes and clam strips! A weekly favorite during the summer months. Love the coleslaw too!

It's a clam shack, but it's has some of the best clam chowder around (New England style). Very convenient to the Charlestown Town Beach-but don't be in a hurry to hear your number called!

We go to the beach a lot there. Tried stopping in one day at 11:30 and was told to come back in an hour. Really? Can't you guys be ready for lunch? Anyways it looks like they hire kids so it is what it is. I haven't bothered to go back. There are much better places to choose from but... More

We love the fish and chips here. It is a bit pricey and it always takes longer than it should for orders to come up. But the food is terrific.

For the sea-side experience this is the real thing but don't expect interesting or really carefully cooked fish.

Great ambiance, sunsets, sea air, picnic style/summer/sunset "dining"!! If you are a "foodie" or love your condiments, want vegetables/any healthy then this place is not for you. BUT if you love simple fresh fried food you will love! The seafood is fresh. There is nothing that is not fried here and not one vegetable on the menu. (tiny side of... More

Had an awesome time at Johnny's! The lobster rolls are to die for as well as the clam strips. If you're going to do the lobster roll they do it right here cold in Aeol mayo, and right near the beach so it's not that far of a stroll. Great scenery you're right near Marina see you get to see...
