We took out-of-town friends to this relatively new restauirant. A large variety of small plates, salads, vegetables, meats which include fois gras, duck, chicken, beef; there was also fish-crab, shrimp, white fish. All these dishes were prepared amazingly creatively with various sauce, preparations. Two of...More

Bristol's loss and Providence's gain. Now in the Fox Point area of Providence. Wishing them all the best luck as they deserve it! Wonderfully talented young couple!

The new location in Providence is fantastic! As a frequent visitor to Persimmon's when they were in Bristol, we were really sad to see (but understand why they moved) them move to the "big city". The food was even better and more creative during our...More

Just went to the new Persimmon Restaurant that recently opened up on Hope Street where the Rue Restaurant was. It was just fabulous! It's more open and airy than the Rue decor and it is neat to be able to see into the kitchen and...More

We've been numerous times and the food is always wonderful and the service great. We have oftentimes said the restaurant was too small, but I guess that will soon change as they move to Providence's East Side. Great news!

We've been several times over the last few years with small parties (2-4), and large (8-10). Always the food has been superb. The combinations of favors, the attention to details, exquisite. The location is tiny and intimate. The chef routinely gets accolades for consistently excellent...More

Persimmon is run by people who care about food. That makes it a destination rather than a convenience. Service excellent. We're foodies so our first trip here put it on the short go-to list of places where we really enjoy the food. When my wife...More
