Many fine meals at Redlefsen's - they have moved on. Recently sold to a top restaurateur who has lined up a top chef (recent "Chopped" winner) and plans a 25-tap bar filled with craft brews.

Redlefsen's is closed as of 25 October 2018. A new restaurant (non-German themed) will open in its place next year.

The 25th was our last Oktoberfest Night. The 28th, today is the last day. Swing by for a boot if you like.

Went to their Octoberfest themed meal combined with accordions, dancers, costumed Bavarian servers and had a fun, different time. Going for the food alone would shortchange the experience. All, nearly all, enjoyed the loud, celebratory atmosphere. Don’t go for a quiet evening. Food was average...More

This was a "by chance" stop as we traveled through the area and we were not disappointed. Outdoor or indoor dining, close to the waterfront makes this a pleasant place to visit and enjoy a good meal and some fine beer selections. Lots of great...More

We went there after seeing the British Motorcar Festival display in the park. It was a busy evening and the great outdoor tables were filled, but there was plenty of room inside. Our waitress was wearing a type of brace on her leg, but that...More

Thank you so much for the kind review. Unfortunately due to health issues we have decided to sell the business. I hope the do the Motor Cars next year though.

This was a return visit for us, as we went the previous year on vacation. What a huge disappointment! The service was horrible. The waitress, Loretta, was rude, forgot one of the orders, and the food was lacking. Definitely not worth the money. We were...More

Thank you so much for the kind words. Not to worry about the Konig Ludwig wheat beer. It will be on tap in a week or so. Thanks again.

Redlefsen's has been an institution in Bristol for many years but it still is a great choice for dinning out. While it has some excellent German/Austrian selections it is not a German Restaurant and has many very good American selections including Cod and Steak.

Description
Redlefsen's is a German - American Restaurant which celebrates it's German heritage while allowing a percentage of its menu to satisfy other worldly palates. The porcelain beer towers pour German drafts in proper glassware, including das boot. The schnitzels and sauerbraten are as authentic as if you were in Bavaria. But if someone in your group must have calamari, Redlefsen's will be able to provide one of the best in the State.
