Great place! Nice outdoor patio with a great view over the water. Service was excellent - on the spot but not obtrusive. The scallops were the best I'v had in a long time. The lobster salad was fresh and tender. Even the hamburger was delicious. I would definitely put this on the A list.

We went to The Lobster Pot with two friends from Providence who are weekly regulars of this restaurant. We all had a wonderful time. We started with drinks outside by the water and watched the beautiful sunset before moving into the dining room for our dinner. Joann, our waitress, was a delight. The Harvest Salad, the Bouillabaisse, the Baked Seafood... More

Our adult children were visiting from out of state, and they no longer live near the water, so we wanted to catch a late lunch/early dinner with a water view and stopped at The Lobster Pot. While certain aspects may seem "old school" (crackers and cheese spread before the meal), there is nothing out of date in terms of cuisine,... More

I came here for dinner a couple times and each time I wasn't disappointed. The food was good, the service was good and the view was superb. In some cases the prices might have been high, but I was happy that you don't get huge portions, but average ones which is fine by me. Any seafood I've had was cooked... More

A sub-par restaurant, with a beautiful view. Service is one the worst I've ever experienced. Menu is typical tourist fare of lobster and grease. I'm sure the owner could care less about all the negative reviews, the parking lot is packed with out of state-licensed cars every time I pass it by. But the day of reckoning shall come...or maybe... I've driven by this restaurant for years, but never had the opportunity to stop. We took my elderly mother here for lunch on a Sunday. The weather was perfect as we sat on the back patio looking over the water with boats bobbing. Not only was the setting great, but the food was good too. My husband and mother had... More

The Lobster Pot is a great restaurant with terrific food. This restaurant has a beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the water. A wonderful place for a quiet and romantic dinner or a special occasion.

We made a Sunday excursion from Newport to the charming, historic town of Bristol. Just outside of town, we spied this restaurant overlooking Naragansett Bay and when hunger struck a few hours later we decided to return for a late lunch. For company, we had a only smattering of occupied tables and a large family…reunion? reception?... that spilled over from... More

Love this place for the great water view. It is very popular, especially with the older crowd that have been coming here for years. The owner, Jeff, is a class act. The waitstaff are fantastic. Now only if the food was better. My wife and I have been somewhat infrequent visitors to this restaurant since moving to Bristol several years... More

I have been coming here occasionally for at least 30 years. It's notable features are its great view of the bay outside its large windows, it's feeling of being a favorited the locals, and decent seafood. I think the quality has improved over the years. The raw shellfish and shrimp cocktail have always been great. Last night I had the... More
