We haven't been here on that side of Narragansett Bay often..a friend suggested the Old Tyler Point Grill, now known as Bluewater Bar and Grill and much to our surprise we remembered our waitress, Mama, from years past and exchanged pleasantries. She was friendly and gave us good suggestions. The food was very good, the choices were limited but the... More

We go to Bluewater quite often and are never disappointed. I love their Fried Yellow Tomato and Chicken CVM salads. I also love that on Sunday's kids eat free.

We went twice in two days during our visit to Rhode Island!! Our bartender was super helpful with recommendations and the food was outstanding! I've worked in the restaurant biz and I can tell that the employees at Bluewater are happy and take pride in the product. To me, that says a lot about management! We will definitely be visiting... It is a nice location, menu is not that good, staff are not pleasant they can't keep up with orders, really strange a worker was walking around with a beer in his hand all night and was smoking around the back, actually out on the street with a beer.

Came here with on a Tuesday for an office farewell party for one of our employees. Ate outside on the patio at sunset. Very pleasant views of the boatyard with boats and masts all around. Drinks were excellent. Small but good beer menu (draft and bottles). Had clams casino app which was great. The rigatoni with sausage was really good:... More

The food is consistent and very good every time. Wait staff is on the ball. Cocktails are generous and the raw bar is fresh.

Excellent food. Friendly professional service. Fun location on Tyler Point surrounded by two boatyards. Beautiful sunsets and most of all a varied menu of freshly prepared food.

I've eaten at Bluewater a few times now and every time my food has been great. I would have given the review 5 stars, but our waitress was not attentive and the kitchen was very slow. This is definitely not the place to dine if you're in a hurry. The kitchen is tiny, so if the restaurant is full, you... More

We've been going to this restaurant for years. Before it was call Bluewater, it was known as Taylor Point Grille. The service and food are still the same - great! The prices are reasonable for dinner, with good selections. Id give it $$$ for cost. Its a nice local convenient place to go before heading to Providence for the night.

My family and I love Blue Water! I know other reviews question a limited menu but it is seasonal and the owners try to keep it a local farm to table effort. This is the type of cuisine I love and the type of business I patronize. My daughter eats free on Sunday and the atmosphere is nice for our... More
