Not sure what the appeal of Panera is to so many, but they are definitely popular. For me, they just seem like really expensive sandwiches. Some are very unique and not generally available elsewhere, but I typically leave this restaurant feeling a little hungry, and disappointed with their value proposition.

Wow, hopping place, very busy but very good. Wait staff very attentive, not hovering, just show up at all the right times. Food out quickly and really too much food for us to eat. Delicious steak tips with mashed potatoes, onions and mushrooms. Bread rolls with honey cinnamon butter to die for. Unlimited iced tea too.

Stopped here for lunch. My grilled cheese sandwich was made with one slice of unidentifiable cheese, and barely toasted. I wish they would take the time to do it right and not worry so much about how fast it appears. I won't be visiting here again!

I have always thought that Panera was expensive but today took the cake. My son's lunch was 16.00 for a pick two of 1/2 sandwich, a drink and large mac and cheese. The half sandwich was 5.00 where I can get a full sandwich at Jimmy Johns for less and a great tasting one too. The large mac and cheese... More

I've stopped into Panera twice to purchase freshly baked bread. I bought a small loaf of three cheese Asiago bread ($3.50), which they kindly sliced for me. It was enough for the eight members of our Bible study. Everyone raved about the bread, and asked where I purchased it. I also bought a large loaf of their sourdough bread which... More

We have panera bread near to our house in york. For vegetarian they have limited options like sandwich or salad, for non vegetarians they have better options. I would say the quality of bread or any other item is very good. It is always very fresh, with that said it is little expensive. :)

my wife and I eat there fairly often. We get the soup and sandwich. I enjoy the chili or squash soup and one of my favorite sandwiches is the turkey cranberry flat bread. A nice place to a liter meal. Never leave stuffed. The bakery is also good and we occasionally get the bearclaw. Quick, friendly service and a reasonable... More
