Got some food to go from here as it was literally right alongside the hotel parking lot, and it had great reviews.
The food was good, it was hot, the portions were a decent size and it was very reasonable - under $10 for an entree.
It does have some tables inside but not sure I would want to eat there. Not that it wasn't clean - it was just very basic as are most to-go places. The only negative was the attitude of the cashier when I went to pick up my order. She was just surly, for no apparent reason. She's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

PROS: Very affordable.
CONS: The food was decent, but nothing special. We visited because of their high reviews, which I think are over stated.

I’m always looking for good Chinese food. This had good reviews so I tried it. I had the Sesame Chicken and it really hit the spot. I’m looking forward to trying more things.

This used to be our “go to” place for great Chinese food in York. My question is, what happened? Hot and sour soup, which used to be their trademark, is no longer great, let alone good. Thick and loaded with tofu. What happened to all the other ingredients? Wife’s shrimp and garlic sauce had terrible flavor, shrimp and veggies had little to no shrimp, and chicken chow mein was all celery and onion. Up-charges for everything as well. I understand the price increases due to covid and less people eating out, but why ruin the quality, which is what loyal customers like my family come for? May try this place again in a few months, but the last three visits have been less than stellar, making me re-think my choices.

Ordered Fried Dumplings and General Tso's Chicken. The chicken tasted...old. Maybe it was cooked waaay earlier...or yesterday. Not sure but did not taste good or fresh, wasn't warm either. The potstickers: also cold: thick, starchy dough. Didn't want to actually taste the meat inside.

In town for a hockey tourney and gave JJ Panda a shot. In short, it was fresh and delicious. We had wonton soup, chicken chow mein, beef chow fun and hunan triple and all of them were excellent.

Really good oriental food. If the weather is nice you can eat outdoors or do take out. Good quality for bucks!

This is how Chinese food should be done! OUTSTANDING food, friendly service, and good prices as well! The biggest issue we have is deciding what to order! Call your order in as it usually takes 15 minutes or so due to them being busy. Them being busy should tell you that others have found this place to have great food as well!

I tried this place because it was new and close to where I work. I odered a quart of some beef dish. A quart is plenty for 2 people. When I got home and saw the entree I thought someone had made an honest mistake. There was a pint of food and a side of rice. The next day I took the pint container back to show them their mistake. To my surprise I was told that that was a large order. When I mentioned the fact that it was only a pint they said the rice made it a quart order. Really! Mu regular take out place uses a quart container as advertised! No where on JJPanda menu does it say anything about the servings and rice make up the quart.I will never shop there again.

Kids wanted Mod Pizza (next door to JJ Panda) but wife and I were not thrilled. I heard some good things about this place so gave it a shot. We are so glad we did. We have been looking for a great Chinese restaurant near our residence and I think we found it. I got Hanan Chicken and my wife got the Kung-Pou Chicken, both were excellent. Have been here several more times since, You need to check this place out!

While traveling through York found this little gem. Great easy order system online. Order was quick and done on time. If you are staying in a hotel close they are a great option.

Good food and restaurant is very clean. We have ordered take -out several times. Servings are ample. Food is flavorful. The woman at the counter is very courteous and helpful.
I was surprised that some of their chicken dishes don't include broccoli or other veggies like many other Chinese restaurants. You will have to wait on average 30+ minutes for take out at dinner due to the high volume of business.

With the turnover of management at First Wok, we lost a great Chef who cooked us fabulous Chinese food for many years.
A new Chinese takeout restaurant called JJ Panda opened on Pauline Drive about a year ago. I normally steer clear of franchise Chinese restaurants, but gave it a try.
Some of the former First Wok employees and their Chef, are working at this JJ Panda restaurant. We ordered egg rolls, Lo Mein and Triple Delight entrees.
When we got home and tried the food, we realized we had in fact reconnected with the former First Wok Chef. The egg rolls and entrees were just like we remembered. Fresh, great presentation, excellent quality and tasted delicious.
My wife and I often talked about how much we missed the Chef at First Wok the past several years. It is great to have found him and know we can get excellent Chinese any time we want once again.
My wife noticed they were extremely busy last night. I guess the locals have discovered this great find before we did.

JJ Panda is the best Chinese restaurant in the area by far! Everything is fresh, the service is excellent and it's very clean as well. I eat here at least twice a week, sometimes more.
