When in Williamsport we generally eat at the Bullfrog Brewery, but this time we wanted to try something else. A friend of mine had told me about the Brickyard's lovely outdoor beer garden, but that didn't work out for us in January. The restaurant was not very busy at the time of our visit, so we could ask our wonderful server, Carissa, a lot of questions. She was very knowledgeable - even about the beer. My son often orders dishes with unusual names, and this time he couldn't resist the Hangover Helper Burger. It was the right choice. I could tell that he was in Burger Heaven while he ate it. I always order a Salmon BLT when it's on the menu. Often it comes with smoked salmon which is fine. However this was the real thing - grilled to perfection. It went very well with the Hazy Jane IPA. We were told that the French fries were dusted with garlic, but we couldn't taste taste. They were the least remarkable part of an otherwise outstanding meal. The restaurant might get rather noisy during certain times, so we'll wait with our next visit until we can sit in the beer garden.

We had an early dinner and sat outside. The entire area has a nice atmosphere. The service was excellent. The food was just so-so. I ordered the chicken pot pie, which comes with a spoon because it's very soupy. The chicken was overcooked leftovers from the grill and the potatoes were undercooked. The burger my daughter got was overcooked and looked like a frozen patty at a backyard BBQ instead of the "gourmet" burgers you come to expect from a pub. Mozz sticks were good. Basically the same review as the restaurant, that they are affiliated with, next door.

We are going back today for our second visit. This time we are going to have dinner. I stopped in after a hair appointment last week and while waiting for my husband decided to have sangria and nachos. The nachos arrived just as my husband got there, and we were both delighted at the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Actually, we were amazed! These are the best nachos we have ever had. The red sangria was delightfully fresh and delicious as well. The servers and bartender were a joy to be around, and made our experience extremely pleasant.

My husband and I are in the Williamsport area for a short time only so of course this restaurant was on our list to eat at. Basically it was horrible from start to finish. The menu had so many amazing choices so we started with an appetizer and then two sandwiches. The appetizer, which was spinach and artichoke dip, came out cold. We sat there waiting for our waitress to come by to check on us and she was no where to be found for over 30 minutes!!!!!! She finally arrived and of course at this point we didn’t want the app anymore. She said she would just “take it off.” We had to wait again for our sandwiches, which were also cold and mine had rye bread which was toasted too much and cut up the top of my mouth. I was clocking the waitress and we where there for almost an hour before our sandwiches arrived. She had 5 more minutes before we were going to leave, but of course we were going to pay for my husband’s soda. No refills on anything. She didn’t check on us. I went over to another empty table to get napkins and silverware because we didn’t have any. This was at lunch! The place wasn’t busy. We were so disappointed because the food could have been phenomenal. We believe someone complained because all of a sudden the manager started serving the food. A little too late for us.

My family and I chose this restaurant based on reviews. We just moved to the area and wanted a nice Father’s Day dinner. We unfortunately didn’t have the same experience other reviewers noted. Our waitress was inattentive. Empty glasses remained on our table for most of our meal. The food took a very long time to arrive, but we saw the place was busy, so assumed that it must be the reason. When the waitress brought our meals, much of it was cold…so I’m assuming it sat waiting for our waitress. We ordered two burgers, and a steak. The meat was all ordered at medium doneness. It all arrived so overcooked, that no moisture was left to even chew it. We ordered my son’s steak cut up (as he is disabled) - it was so grey and dry that the cook must have known how overdone it was. The waitress eventually came and asked how everything was. I told her that it wasn’t good. I showed her the burgers and steak, and explained that the fries were cold. She made no effort to make it right, and simply brought the full bill at the end of the meal. We even received a scowl as she asked “should I just take the plates away then?” I said “yes please”, tipped her well, and took my family home. Terrible experience.

Just to preface this, we were a small party for dinner at 6 p.m. The first order of pretzel bites were warm on top but cold on the bottom. Not just cool, but actually cold to the mouth. When we sent those back, the next batch was probably what they were going for but should have come out first. How can a place who boasts a fire oven serve a pizza that is about room temp? The seafood trio with fries, which I told the server was cold, was confirmed as ‘lukewarm at best’ according to the manager. Unacceptable. Imagine lukewarm shrimp on a skewer, lukewarm crab cake, and a lukewarm fish fillet all served on a pile of cold fries. The other order of burger and fries came out pipping hot. So...did they let the other orders sit until the last one was ready? Don’t know, don’t care, won’t be back.

Tried to find the place three times by gps and finally found someone to ask that was walking down a sidewalk. It would be nice if directions state: go inside this alley to find restaurant! A friend enjoyed her beef and rice bowl while I tackled the chicken chili nachos! Enjoyable. Would have been better if they had some salsa but I was told they do not carry salsa. And refilling ice tea took forever.

My coworker and I did not set out to eat lunch here, but after driving downtown where we were going was takeout only, so we walked a little further down the street to the Brickyard Restaurant & Ale House. They offer a variety of options to choose from to address whatever you are in the mood for. There are burgers, entrée plates, tacos, sandwiches, wraps, and other items. Really a great variety. I was wanting to eat a little healthy, so I selected one of the lunch bowls. I ordered the Medi Chicken Bowl and added a house salad. The bowl is a Mediterranean themed bowl with chicken, quinoa, Kalamata olives, etc. It was really good and filling. The salad was also crisp and fresh. This is really a great restaurant.

I went to Brickyard for lunch on a Saturday when there was music and some activities happening in and around the restaurant. While a standalone restaurant from the neighboring pizza restaurant and ice cream shop, they seem to be owned and managed by the same person so all three kind of function essentially as one restaurant but with different concepts or sections. The patio was fun with a mix of customers. Many seemed to be regulars. Service was attentive and very good. My burger, a turkey burger, was excellent. Wine selection is poor to nonexistent. Barefoot and something else, I think it was Josh Cellars. Seems like a missed opportunity to have some of the very good to excellent regional Pennsylvania or New York wines. All things considered, I would return if I found myself in Williamsport again.

Was here for dinner with clients and while service was ok, food was below average. In fact two us got sick. We believe it was the Crab Cakes. The Pretzel was fine, Egg Roll. The Burger was good the Fish Tacos were over fried, cooked in over-used or rancid oil. With so many options in Williamsport, need to think about recommending or returning.

This place checked all the boxes. Greqt food, great service, and an awesome atmosphere. All of the burgers we ordered were outstanding. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich and he told the group that it may have been one of the best chicken sandwiches he ever had. Not only is the food out of this world, they have an extensive beer list. If you are ever in the area, check this place out.

Had a bit of time to kill before a wedding, so I popped in and had some beers and wings. The wings were whole wings, not those dinky wing dings that most places serve. The weather was really nice and I chose to sit on the patio, which made a good experience even better.

After months of being a mug club member, these liberal idiots shut their doors for over a year. Sure they tried to make up for it with an extra free beer here and there but nobody cared. Now they harass constantly via email. I can say I’ve asked and demanded to be removed from their mailing list well over 20 times and still they harass me about going to the brickyard and stonehouse.

Mixed experience with this. We went with extended family - about 7 of us in all. This was a tale of two tables - Our table liked their food, the other was disappointed. Our table had fish tacos, turkey burgers and glazed shrimp - all good, especially the shrimp. A few of us had some of their local brews. T he Covid precautions seemed appropriate and the staff friendly, though our other table had to send back some things (cold, incorrect). Additionally, the service was a bit slow. Not sure of the others beers, but mine had an unpleasant aftertaste. The low rating is due mostly to the experience of our second table.

I have had 2 encounters with the Brickyard the first was pleasant, bartender was nice and attentive. Beer and burger were excellent, can’t say that about the salad(warm, not crisp), wings(wasn’t expecting a turkey wing?) and the water had small black objects floating around, bartender got me another glass and it was fine. Second time I could’ve get a seat on Monday night even though there were 4 tables sitting empty. Girl at the front when I asked for a seat looked around at the 4 empty tables and said you will have a better chance at the bar in which every seat was taken. Will chose to go somewhere else when I come to the area again.
