I have had 2 encounters with the Brickyard the first was pleasant, bartender was nice and attentive. Beer and burger were excellent, can’t say that about the salad(warm, not crisp), wings(wasn’t expecting a turkey wing?) and the water had small black objects floating around, bartender...got me another glass and it was fine. Second time I could’ve get a seat on Monday night even though there were 4 tables sitting empty. Girl at the front when I asked for a seat looked around at the 4 empty tables and said you will have a better chance at the bar in which every seat was taken. Will chose to go somewhere else when I come to the area again.More
Service good; nice atmosphere. It was good to come there again. Black bean burger very good. Burger with gorgonzola delicious. Chicken enchilada soup delicious. French onion soup not the best.
We were on an adventure traveling to the Southern Tier of New York to visit with a breeder of Golden Retriever puppies. On the way home, we stopped in Williamsport, Pa for a late lunch/early dinner around 3:00 PM. We came in here because the...restaurant was already starting to fill up, which we thought was a good sign. We were seated promptly when we walked in and then forgotten. We asked several times about getting someone to take our order. Just as we were about to leave, Lauren came over. We decided to stay because of her bubbly personality, welcoming attitude, and apology that no one had approached us sooner. My husband built his own burger with blue cheese, pickles and bacon. It was cooked medium rare, as he requested. His burger came with French fries. Our friend had the Pitts-Burger, which had bacon, cheddar, lettuce, slaw, fries and a garlic aioli with some blue cheese added. She wanted her burger cooked rare and it was. She had broccoli as her side. They were both very pleased with their meals. I decided on the Cuban, which was Mojo pork, ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, and spicy mustard on the side. It came with sweet potatoes fries that were over-cooked. The Cuban had a nice flavor but was not like any other Cuban sandwich I had ever had. Burgers seem to be a better choice. Lauren was a very attentive and friendly server, and we thank her for making our dining experience pleasant.More
We stopped at the Brickyard for our daughters 21st birthday celebration. The bartenders were absolutely perfect. We had a wonderful experience just relaxing and enjoying the bar, the music, and the atmosphere. Drinks were awesome, experience was genuine, and an all around good time. Thank...you for helping us celebrate our daughter’s big day.More
This place checked all the boxes. Greqt food, great service, and an awesome atmosphere. All of the burgers we ordered were outstanding. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich and he told the group that it may have been one of the best chicken sandwiches he...ever had. Not only is the food out of this world, they have an extensive beer list. If you are ever in the area, check this place out.More
Had a bit of time to kill before a wedding, so I popped in and had some beers and wings. The wings were whole wings, not those dinky wing dings that most places serve. The weather was really nice and I chose to sit on...the patio, which made a good experience even better.More
Was here for dinner with clients and while service was ok, food was below average. In fact two us got sick. We believe it was the Crab Cakes. The Pretzel was fine, Egg Roll. The Burger was good the Fish Tacos were over fried, cooked...in over-used or rancid oil. With so many options in Williamsport, need to think about recommending or returning.More
My family and I chose this restaurant based on reviews. We just moved to the area and wanted a nice Father’s Day dinner. We unfortunately didn’t have the same experience other reviewers noted. Our waitress was inattentive. Empty glasses remained on our table for most...of our meal. The food took a very long time to arrive, but we saw the place was busy, so assumed that it must be the reason. When the waitress brought our meals, much of it was cold…so I’m assuming it sat waiting for our waitress. We ordered two burgers, and a steak. The meat was all ordered at medium doneness. It all arrived so overcooked, that no moisture was left to even chew it. We ordered my son’s steak cut up (as he is disabled) - it was so grey and dry that the cook must have known how overdone it was. The waitress eventually came and asked how everything was. I told her that it wasn’t good. I showed her the burgers and steak, and explained that the fries were cold. She made no effort to make it right, and simply brought the full bill at the end of the meal. We even received a scowl as she asked “should I just take the plates away then?” I said “yes please”, tipped her well, and took my family home. Terrible experience.More
Everything was really good! I got steak and fries. The steak sauce was delicious. Great drink menu, would recommend the lemon blueberry martini. Only reason didn't get 5 stars is the hostess and surround host staff were not helpful or friendly. The waitresses were great...though.More
Was recommended by our hotel and food was good. I had the house special maple bacon burger and my wife had steak and fries. Both were quite good Server was Katie C and she was outstanding. Good assortment of beer Overall a very nice meal...and a good destination stop. Only downside was after waiting 15 minutes for table which was no problem we waited almost the same period of time to get waited on.More
My husband and I are in the Williamsport area for a short time only so of course this restaurant was on our list to eat at. Basically it was horrible from start to finish. The menu had so many amazing choices so we started with...an appetizer and then two sandwiches. The appetizer, which was spinach and artichoke dip, came out cold. We sat there waiting for our waitress to come by to check on us and she was no where to be found for over 30 minutes!!!!!! She finally arrived and of course at this point we didn’t want the app anymore. She said she would just “take it off.” We had to wait again for our sandwiches, which were also cold and mine had rye bread which was toasted too much and cut up the top of my mouth. I was clocking the waitress and we where there for almost an hour before our sandwiches arrived. She had 5 more minutes before we were going to leave, but of course we were going to pay for my husband’s soda. No refills on anything. She didn’t check on us. I went over to another empty table to get napkins and silverware because we didn’t have any. This was at lunch! The place wasn’t busy. We were so disappointed because the food could have been phenomenal. We believe someone complained because all of a sudden the manager started serving the food. A little too late for us.More
Stopped in on a whim while making our way south of Williamsport from NYS. Chose the Brickyard based on reviews and pics posted. Really great way to take advantage of the urban setting - lights strung between buildings and covered outdoor seating makes for an...inviting atmosphere. We were lucky to get 3 seats at the bar on a busy Friday. Long line waiting for tables. Very friendly bartender. Awesome selection of craft brews. Didn’t eat.More
Thanks so much for choosing us on your way through town! We are thrilled that you enjoyed your whole experience while here and hope next time you pass through you get to stop and try some of our amazing food!
My coworker and I did not set out to eat lunch here, but after driving downtown where we were going was takeout only, so we walked a little further down the street to the Brickyard Restaurant & Ale House. They offer a variety of options...to choose from to address whatever you are in the mood for. There are burgers, entrée plates, tacos, sandwiches, wraps, and other items. Really a great variety. I was wanting to eat a little healthy, so I selected one of the lunch bowls. I ordered the Medi Chicken Bowl and added a house salad. The bowl is a Mediterranean themed bowl with chicken, quinoa, Kalamata olives, etc. It was really good and filling. The salad was also crisp and fresh. This is really a great restaurant.More
