Visited on a recent Monday night and the service was extremely slow, waiting 20 minutes just to get a glass of wine. Minestrone soup was mostly peas with a few carrots and potatoes. Very disappointing considering this is an Italian restaurant. Meals were ok, prices are reasonable.

Food and service was of the highest quality. I literally lingered to savor every morsel, every drop, every portion of my soup, entree and dessert. I could eat here everyday!

Locals like to keep this a secret. One visit and you will see why. The menu, the service, the food that will now be one of your favorites is why. It's cozy and always busy and yet you are treated as if you are the only customers. It's sometimes hard to get a table when there is an event going... More

An excellent choice. We were visiting Wilkes-Barre and had to dine early to make a program at 7:30 on a Saturday evening. Very glad we made reservations for 5:00 because we needed them. These folks know how to run a restaurant. Service and food were good and décor was attractive. Café Toscana would be successful in any city on any... More

just had the most delicious Eggplant Rollatini. Paper thin eggplant cooked to perfection , stuffed with the appropriate amount of spinach and ricotta cheese. Ceaser salad was lightly dressed with an enormous amount of freshly sliced Parmesan. Will definitely stop back on my return trip through Wilkes Barre.

After traveling 6 hours from New England we were happy to try this highly recommended Italian restaurant . We just wanted a light meal and were served the most delicious assortment of our favorite things. The soup was homemade and delicious the salad much larger than I expected even as a main course. The veal was fork tender and delicious... More

Toscana has impeccable service and food. The wine and cocktail list is extensive. I recommend the Cherry Noir martini. Your are served by a team of waiters, not just one person, so it can be a bit confusing as to whom to ask if you need something. The entrees are huge! The bruschetta that is brought to the table is... More

We had a large group for a graduation celebration. The service was attentive and the food was pretty good. The servers didn't seem to understand English well so there were a few misunderstandings but overall it was a good experience. Prices were reasonable, portions generous. No children's menu.

Just had the most incredible meal here! We are staying at the Best Western Genetti and Cafe Toscana is down the street. Looks small from the outside but plenty of seats in the dining room and a decent size bar. From the bruschetta and bread with a fabulous dipping sauce as a complimentary start to the Pollo Verona and Eggplant... More

Stayed in Wilkes Barre last year when traveling home from Florida. Ate at Cafe Toscana .. It was excellent but didn't seem very busy. Went back again on our trip home again tonight! It was booming, the food was terrific, and the service was amazing! I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant with such amazing organization and... More
