Having never really tried Indian cuisine, I had with anticipation ventured out to try Spice India. First hint of trouble was with the website, which only displayed a take out menu. Second hint, upon arrival building was shabby and in need of tlc. Inside, dark, I mean dark and this was in the afternoon. A few patrons who looked to... More

We enjoyed the dinner buffet very much. Had plenty! nothing fancy about the restaurant. You can order from the menu every day, 7 days a week, eat in or take out. Buffet is offered every day for lunch, also dinner buffet on Monday and Wednesday.

My 17 year old daughter and I were looking for an Indian place while touring colleges in Allentown. It turned out to be an excellent choice! The "medium" spice level is on point. Not like other places where you ask for medium then smoke comes out your ears or you can't even feel a zing... We had a feast for... More

Just did takeout because we were nearby and were hungry. We haven't had Indian food in a while and we have not been very happy with the Lehigh Valley's selection of Indian restaurants. The service was very good the food was ready on time. The food itself was adequate with the mixed appetizer selection being quite good but main courses... More

Spice India was recommended to me by a friend as I have recently become a vegetarian and was finding it harder and harder to eat out of the house . I looked at their vast menu and realized that they offered many non-meat menu items as well as a variety of various meat based items as well . I picked... More

I went with a very large group and I think they did a good job considering how many people there were! We met on a weekend afternoon and some had the buffet while I myself chose things from the regular menu as did a few others. The staff had no problem getting the right orders to the right people. I... More

It's hard to find good Indian food I myself live in Florida and down here is different indian food/spices than what I was raised with up in Pennsylvania. Every time I come home for a visit I must travel to Spice India to get wonderful Indian food. The food is great and the owner always comes around to make sure... More

We were craving Indian food on a Saturday while out running errands in the area. We usually head to Phillipsburg for Indian, but it just seemed out of the way so we decided to try this place. What a disappointment! They had the buffet set up, which look ok at first glance. When I went to get my food, I... More

This is an excellent choice for Indian Food in the Lehigh Valley. They have all the standard staples. Pekoras are excellent, Butter (Chicken Tiki) excellent, the Tadka Dal excellent. Good selection if you want good Indian Food, although the interior of the rest is more beat up and run down. They have a second location in Easton that has the... More
