I had a delicious dinner that included mashed potatoes with gravy and cut green beans. Everything was tasty, and oddly, the green beans in particular were quite good. This place is a gem. Gary, the owner and chef and baker is engaging, and so personable. Loved talking to him.He makes you feel right at home. The food is very good and the prices are terrific. His bake shop is right next door and he makes wonderful goodies. You'll enjoy every minute. HIs staff is friendly too.
This restaurant is a few blocks off the GAP trail. You'll need to walk across the bridge into town and hang a right after a couple of blocks, but it's definitely worth it when you order that hamburger with home made bread and mashed potatoes covered in gravy. The portions are big and there's a pastry shop attached too.

Gary's background also includes being a baker and room next door is filled with pastries he makes every... More
