This restaurant, while not fancy by any means, never disappoints. They have a wide-ranging menu of different types of Asian food and, arguably, the best sushi in the county. The service is prompt and courteous, the prices are very reasonable and it's BYOB so you don't get gouged for drinks. Good food, good service and good prices - what more could you ask for?

I get takeout often. The food is always delivered quickly and still hot! That's hard to find. I love the General Tso's Chicken which is always juicy and never over-cooked. It's not greasy, and the sauce is tart and tasty. Delivery also always arrives with a smile! I love the soups - never too much corn starch, which is nice for a change. I enjoy both the Thai and Chinese. Next I will try the Japanese.

We have eaten here before and found it to be a 5 star restaurant. We ordered Sushi Rolls for take out. It was delicious. We were unhappy with the size of the portions. In the past there was a lot more to each portion. When we got home we felt there just was not enough for four people.

Small atmosphere and a Great Chinese restaurant. Excellent sushi menu and some Thai dishes also. It's also great that it is BYOB.

I ate here two times in one week. The first night I had the hot and sour soup which was terrific, possibly the best I have tasted. With this I had some sushi rolls that were fantastic. The crunchy spider roll with crab was terrific as was the California Roll. The second time I went I had an egg roll and the house fried rice. The Egg Roll was crisp and tasty. The House Fried Rice had large chunks of chicken, shrimp and pork. It was a huge portion and was very tasty. I am going back for some more.

Who doesn’t love leftovers after bringing home takeout Chinese food? Yet this is the first time I’ve ever thrown away Asian food. It was so bleh that I couldn’t think about wanting to warm it up and eat it again. We ordered House Special Wonton Soup, Chicken with Garlic Sauce and Chicken with Ginger, off the Thai menu. The chicken in all three dishes was rubbery. Mind you, we ordered at 6 p.m. on a Saturday night. If ever you’re getting the freshest, best prepared meal, this would be the night. The soup was scant of all yummies that are traditionally in a House Special offering - only two wonton, a handful of tiny shrimp, some rubbery chicken and a small sampling of veggies. The main dishes were equally disappointing. All around, a true waste of $30.

I don't eat sushi, but everyone that I know that does, say it is excellent. The Menu is very good and I do enjoy this place. Not very large, but comfortable. I prefer the hotter items on the Menu. I live very close and have used it for delivery in the past a lot.

A large group ordered out and selected a variety of Chinese and Japanese dishes. I ordered from the "Health and Diet Menu," which contains dishes that typically are not offered in Chinese restaurants. These are steamed items, many of which are vegetarian and some of which contain chicken. I selected the American Buddhist Delight, which I highly recommend. I also ordered two spring rolls. Food was excellent, tasty, well cooked, and very reasonably priced.

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and really enjoyed our meal. Sushi, fried rice, lo mein, pad Thai and soup was all very good. Everything tasted so fresh and the service was good. It’s very nice inside.

Both the sushi and Chinese food was excellent. The portions where large and the prices where reasonable. Best spicey tuna roll I have ever had.

Fantastic food. Never greasy or warm. Food is always hot fresh and ready for take out. Dining in is exceptional. Service and cleanliness is very good. Sushi is very fresh and tasty. My pick for Chimeese and Japanese cuisine reasonably priced and fresh.

Zhuang's Garden is simply the best Asian Restaurant I've ever experienced! The interior is quite average, although the front of the building was recently renovated. The owners & workers are very friendly. But the food...that is what makes the difference for me! It is absolutely delicious! The sauces are very flavorful, & there is never any doubt about the origin of the meat, as in some Asian restaurants. I particularly enjoy the Thai menu, in which coconut juice is a part of many of the selections. Combined with the other ingredients...tasty! Give it a try! The Chinese menu is also very good. There is also a Sushi Bar, but Sushi is not my thing, so I can't comment on that. Prices are reasonable (the Thai food being a little more expensive), & the presentation of the dishes is attractive. In my opinion, you can't lose.

We ordered our food for lunch around 11:30am. The crab ragoon appetizer was good, however, that is where it ended. The one meal seemed as if it was sitting for days, the wonton soup did not have many noodles and ALL the meals were cold as was the restaurant. Not sure, if they have a working heater. The waitress was truly pathetic. Contemplated not giving her a tip, but being a nice person, I did leave one. We have gone there a few times in the past and the food and service was good, had had no complaints. This last visit was a big disappointment and we will not be returning. So in short, service was dismal, food was cold and restaurant needs to turn up heat.

I been craving sushi for a while and I knew about this restaurant. I remember when there was a Zhuang's Garden in Exeter in the Redners plaza. That one was delicious but I was hesitant to try this one because I was afraid it wouldn't be as good. My friend told me this one was the original and it was just as good, so we gave it a try. We all enjoyed our food very much. I was with my picky kids and they ate twice. I had the strawberry bubble tea and I recommend everyone try the bubble tea. The Vietnamese tea is made with condensed milk and if you don't have a problem with dairy, give that a try too. I tried the aged tofu, being a vegetarian ( or pescaterian if you won't to get technical) and it was delicious. We had the dream roll and spicy tuna and California roll, we all shared. All the food was excellent. My son enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken. The serve was slow as there was 2 people working but besides that everything was great. Go when you have plenty of time to spare and not in a rush. If you get sushi it is a bit pricey. There was 5 of us and we spent about $120 but like I said we ate twice and got dessert. Speaking of dessert the fried banana tasted too sweet for me but my son enjoyed it. I tried and green tea ice cream because someone picked it and didn't like it. My daughter (11 yrs old) enjoyed it as much. For the first few bites you say to yourself this doesn't taste right. But then as you keep eating it the taste grows on you. And before you go practice using chop sticks. They do have other utensils as well. The place was clean and the people very friendly.

Reasonable priced outstanding food! They are a nice place to dine in or take out Japanese, Thai, or Chinese. Our favorites are the Thai food selections.
