Just happened to be passing by on weds morning and had a craving for pizza. It’s early for some, but I love a good pizza any time of the day. So I came in and I liked the look and feel of the place. Unsure what to get I ended up chatting to Warren. He was just about the most helpful person I’ve met during my trip through the states so far. I’d have bought two pizzas if I could he was that convincing and friendly. So hats off to management for having a great team. He makes a great pizza too it has to be said. I’d visit again just for the friendly nature of the place and maybe to watch some sports while Warren makes another delicious pizza. Until next time.

The pizza and sandwiches are very good. I especially like that they have daily lunch specials. I really like their fried fish sandwich.

We always have had great takeout pizza and food until the last few weeks. I had mentioned this at the time when I have been placing my order but it seems it doesn't matter. I guess I'll be returning to illianos or tonellis. We really enjoy franzones while it lasted. My complant has been that they are burning the pizza. I am enclosing a picture of our burnt Sicilian pie this time.

I have no idea why people rate this pizza highly. Unless you like pizza made with strawberry jam instead of tomato sauce. I have had pizzas all over the world. Pizza is a savory dish, not a sweet dish. This is an abomination. We had a house full of hungry people, five pies, and everyone took one bite and said "we can't eat this." Ruined our evening. Had to order ANOTHER round of pizza from III Illianos to save the day. I can not imagine why this place is in business. I guess it's an "acquired" taste. Yuc.

I want to like this place but can’t. We ordered take out tonight....The sauce is sweet which is fine, however the crust can’t even hold the sauce it’s toooo thin, so it’s hard too enjoy. Stromboli was BURNT. I won’t be back

Wtf?!?! Charged me for cutlet!!! Almost 20$ for 2 slices and sandwich Then proceeded to serve chix fingers on a roll....🤦🏽‍♂️ Welp needless to say thats the first and last time ill be visiting this place Stupid move cause they just lost alot of potential business trying to cut corners Dont advertise cutlet ., charge for cutlet Then serve deep fried chix fingers ....

My wife's Godfather owns a pizzeria in Jersey, so she's a bit of a pizza snob. There is plenty good pizza (in my taste) that she just doesn't like. She got all visibly excited to hear Italian accents in the kitchen. It was a let down to her. I on the other hand, like most any pizza. But I still didn't like this. The sauce was not good. Even the kids wouldn't eat this pizza. The subs weren't bad. Overall, the place seemed more 'hole in the wall' than I prefer my restaurants. Little run down, dirty, and we wondered how long the cheese had been in the shaker. Plenty of people must like the place because there were carryout orders shuffling past the entire time we were eating, but its not pizza we could get behind.

I'm from North Wales, PA. Tony's is my "home" pizzeria. On the way back from the airport, we decided to get a pizza from Franzone's (Franzone's is open late; Tony closes @ 9 PM on weekdays). Got a pizza with sausage & onions, my standard @ Tony's. Absolutely no comparison. First of all, Franzone's is light on the cheese and the *sweet* sauce is nasty. Much more meat on Tony's (slices of real Italian sweet sausage), and Tony uses excellent sweet onions. Sorry, Franzone's, I am using Tony's as a standard and you just don't stand up.

Franzone's pizza is unique, they have a great thin crust and a very sweet sauce they spiral on the pizza. This pizza has been a favorite of mine for over 20 years. We live about 1 1/2 hours away but we stop in a few times a year on our way home from Philadelphia. We stopped in this past weekend for a few drafts and some food and it was excellent. We not only enjoyed the pizza but the pizza fries were very good too. They have a full bar and a separate dining area and it's family friendly. There are several televisions. The also have take out. The staff is nice and it's clean. They have off street parking. It is tucked in the back and a bit hard to see from Main Ave.

Love the pizza at Franzones. It’s a sweet tomato sauce - the crust is very good- and with the cheese- well- you can’t ask for a better pizza. They also have good cheesesteaks and Norristown zeps.

Just like everyone else said, the sauce is sweet, but not out of place. There must be Parmesan in the cheese because the contrast of the wonderfully flavorful cheese was a perfect compliment to the flavor. The crust is lighting and perfectly textured. Not too crisp not soft, mushy or greasy. They delivered in about 35 minutes to our hotel. If I lived closer I'd be a repeat customer, it is a specific one of a kind pizza.

This place was right around the corner from our hotel and we thought we'd check it out. Glad we did. Ordered pizza and a garden salad. Good pizza! The sauce is sweeter than most, a pleasant surprise.

We go to Franzone's at least every other week. Enjoy their pizza's, and sandwiches. They have very good "specials". Now have another place in Manayunk.

Great place to go on casual date night or family pizza night. Their pizza is so delicious as well as their other menu choices. Attracts friendly locals - relaxed casual atmosphere. Game room has pool tables, golf game and great selection of music.
