My sorority sister (of 20+ years) and I went to the restaurant on 1.1.16 to hang out and catch up. While the seating was somewhat tight in the place, we secured a table that was sufficient. My truffle lobster ravioli was rich and quite decadent. I loved it! The owner offered us free desserts for us to move to another... More

Dont know why it's taken so long to get here. I think i was worried it was too spicy, but it's not at all. They can tailor any dish, and they get it right. The decor is amazing, totally bourbon street. Food is exceptional as is the service. Great beer selection. Super fun and terrific food. They have an amazing... More

The Caffe, with two ffs, is an eclectic kind of place offering Creole and Cajun cuisine. The place in decorated on the inside in purple and black with a set of pictures that are the owners taste. Being a Sunday night, and the restaurant is a little off the beaten track, we were seated immediately. After looking though the menu,... More

At the suggestion of friends who were in the mood for Cajun food we found ourselves at the High Street Café. The ambiance is dark and dreary with purple walls decorated with beads and Mardi Gras Masks but we were there for the food and we were not disappointed. My friends ordered jambalaya wraps and poor boys which they raved... More

Everything about this restaurant needs some help. Is it High Street Cafe or Vudu? Went for dinner the other night. Maybe three tables occupied and we are seated in the back by the waitress station, kitchen and bathrooms. Everything is dusty, half dead flowers on the table, lights with light bulbs out, raggy menus, rickety chairs and nasty carpet. The... More

I had calamari at Timpano's in Fort Lauderdale this evening(05/25/16) and was terribly disappointed. All I could think about was how great it is a High Street Cafe. Can your chef please call this restaurant and save them from further embarrassment?

Read the other reviews and totally agree, both the food and service are first rate. We had the jambalaya and ahi tuna. Jambalaya perfectly spicy, ahi seared just right with a superb sauce. It was busy on a Friday night but the restaurant is well run and efficient.

Delicious food and creative cocktails! Kind of a hole in the wall but fun environment. Mardi Gras decor with purple walls.

Have been there several times, always with the same friends. I always have the same and it always consistently great. Pork Beigniets, followed by the Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya. My wife loves the short ribs and raves about them. We ask for the window table when making reservations and so far the service staff have always been able to accommodate... More
