We left the Dilworthtown Inn this past Saturday night because our dinners were not ready after more than 2 hours! We had a 7:00 reservation for 6 people, were seated in a private room with inadequate lighting, he to ask for the waitress after 2 minutes so we could get a drink. After ordering, our salads and soups were brought... More

A group of 6 of us got together for a small reunion of neighbors on 8/13/16 and it was evening of delays and no communication by the restaurant ; We arrived at 7 for our reservation and after 15 to 20 minutes , ordered a cocktail ; we made our dinner selections by 745 and got appetizers between 815 and... I have dined here more that a hundred times over the past 20 years. The service and food had declined over the years. Cannot believe in the lack of beer choices. Recent dining with about 15 guests- one older waiter could not get orders correct. Please get back the old employees that had made the place good.

Long time area standby for first class dining, special occasions or when you need to make serious amends! Sited in a semi and authentically restored 18th century colonial inn that maintains an aire of Williamsburg formaility without being stuffy. Menu changes frequently and always has seasonal and locally produced offering. Competent wine list. Attentive and professional service. Eaten here many... More

We went here for our Anniversary celebration. The ambiance can't be beat, the food is delicious and the service is perfect. They have special drinks as well as an excellent wine list. The menu is innovative American, with premium fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the watermelon and arugula salad and the whipped brie with cherries on toast. The lobster bisque... More

It had been a number of years since we had last visited the Dilworthtown Inn, but reserved it for a small family gathering after a graduation. The setting and the wait service was as we had recalled - great. The food was incredible, and everyone loved their dinners. The Short Ribs, the scallops, the lobster, the seafood special - everyone... More

I agree with others: Dilworthtown had better make some changes. This is not the restaurant it used to be, and I've been coming here for 25 years. SERVICE: We were a party of 7 tonight. Our waitress, Patty, was not good. She was not attentive and disappeared for long stretches (and it was not busy at all.) She wanted to... More

We celebrated our 25th anniversary there in 1999 and then moved away. We just recently came back to the area and went to celebrate our 42nd. While the atmosphere hasn't changed, the food has. They have a huge menu but very limited entree choices. I couldn't find anything appealing and settled for a ceasar salad (average) and a side of... More

In the past we have visited Dilworthtown Inn many times but got away from it. We just went for our anniversary and had a fabulous meal. I had tiger prawns stuffed with crabmeat and wrapped with seaweed, lobster cake on risotto with lobster bisque and clementine cosmos. Every item was mouthwatering especially since I didn't know what to expect from... More
