Service and food OK, nothing to brag about. The noise..we’ll definitely need some serious acoustics to help them. Our waiter was very pleasant and accommodating her tip reflected the hard work.

We wanted to take our uncle out for lunch at the place if his choice and he selected The Stone Tavern and boy did we enjoy our lunch! Nice atmosphere and great menu!
A nice meal at the tavern, the service was a little slow. They did have signs saying they were understaffed. The food was all good, we had the reuben, ribeye sandwich, shepherd pie, and fish and chips. The fish was very good.
Indoor and outdoor seating. Menu is average. I like the older ambiance. The biggest problem is they have no staff. Cooks or waitpersons. It’s limiting. Otherwise I would eat there more often.
We started with the wings in ‘bee sting’ sauce and they were as good as any we’ve had anywhere. Perfectly cooked and saucy. The brisket entree was outstanding and also perfectly prepared. My wife said the mashed potatoes on the side were very tasty. The...hot roast beef sandwiches were mouth-watering, lean and thinly-shaved, with melted provolone on top. And finally, the skinny fries were better than any restaurant fries that I can remember. Great meal. Great service. Great value. And nobody in the place was having a bad time.More
We went there based on reviews. Maybe they have slipped a bit ... possibly due to the continuing pandemic? In any case, we ordered fish and chips ... the fish was good but the "chips" were HORRIBLE. We expected, from our many years of going...to Irish and English pubs, to get full-bodied fried potatoes. Instead we got what looked like fried spaghetti, cut into 1 to 2 inch lengths. Worst of all, more than half were either fried too much (and hard to chew) or almost not at all. It seemed as if we were chewing on round, overdone shoelace pieces. They were so thin that using a fork was close to impossible ... the pieces tended to slip through the fork tines. It is hard to believe they were cooked together ... I don't think so. It seemed like a lot may have been (just a guess) left over from the previous evening, then mixed with a fresher batch. This was certainly not worth anything the $17 price per order. On the bright side, the draft beer was done very well. So we say "Yay" to the bartender and "Nay" to the kitchen. The young lady who served us was VERY nice and efficient ... thank goodness. We will NEVER go there again ... this was our first and last visit.More
My wife and I stopped here for dinner. We were extremely happy. The hostess’ and server were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food, drinks, and service were amazing. Definitely on our list of go-to’s.
My mother ordered to pick up our St. Patrick's dinners from this establishment. The three of us had the Corned Beef, colcannon mashed potatoes, honey roasted carrots, and guinness whole grain mustard. It was my first time trying this establishment as my parents have eaten...here for years. As a culinarian and foodie I was impressed by the dish. I certainly will be a customer as my parents have been for years when it was The Blarney Stone. I highly recommend the Stone Tavern, they have a spectacular menu and drinks.More
Great Pub! Good food, good service. My wife and I have been here several times. Irish pub menu. Cold beer! Great local place.

I went to the Stone Tavern with my wife, our son and a friend from work and his girlfriend. I had never been to the bar/restaurant when it was previously called the Blarney Stone. The location is perfectly situated on West Chester Pike and has...plenty of parking. The decor is just what you would expect of an Irish pub. There is not a lot of room if you're party needs to wait and they only take reservations for parties of 6 or greater. I had called to make a reservation but was told it would not be necessary for a Saturday night at 6:30. We waited about 20 minutes and were seated at a 4 person booth with a chair added at the end of the booth. To some it would be an inconvenience but we were not bothered by the close quarters. Our server was very pleasant (I wish I could recall her name). She was very friendly and attentive. She took her time to explain items and specials to us since it was our first time to the Stone Tavern. She paid very close attention to our son when he informed her of his severe food allergies. We had the onion rings as an appetizer along with the tower burger, meatloaf, regular burger and a salad with salmon for our dinners. The food was very good, decent portions and reasonably priced. The rest of the menu has plenty of selections and they have a large bar with full service. Can't go wrong at the Stone Tavern!More

We had a group of 6 for a late lunch. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The food was very good for the most part. I had the fish and chips and the fish could have been cooked a tad longer to get the coating...really crisp. The fries tasted great but were a tad chewy. My wife loved her chicken biscuit pie, and the others in the group really enjoyed their salmon, salad, burger and Reuben. Overall the lunch was great success, just crisp up that fish and chips!.More

This is the go to spot for my husband and I. Always great food and great service! My favorite is the French Onion Burger or the wings.
We were regulars at the Blarney Stone and will be here too. Stopped in on a hot Saturday night - it was surprisingly uncrowded and we were able to be seated on the deck, which was great. I really enjoyed the chicken caesar salad (it...has capers and olives, unusual but tasty additions) and the popover. Great sandwiches and fries too.More
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us 5 bubbles and such kind words! SO happy you enjoyed our twist on a caesar salad. Hope you'll stop back soon!
I visited the Stone Tavern while on a business trip. It was hoping! Lots of patrons in the bar and everyone seemed to know eachother. I was alone so when the bar filled up the tender asked if I could move to the end of...the bar for more patrons to get to the tender. He gave me a free drink for my troubles and was wonderful to talk with. He also gave me a free appetizer card for the next time. I'll be going back tonight for the wings :) I had the Philly since it was highly reccomended and it did not disappoint. Will go back!More

Excellent roast beef sandwich. Good size portions. Service was pleasant and efficient. The atmosphere was okay, but I didn't like the TV noise
