We arrived at 7:30 pm on a thursday and were promptly seated. the restaurant was filling up. Service was excellent. I had the striped bass and my wife had the veal. both dishes were very good. our appetizers of octopus and the cheese selection were excellent. On a nice evening this dinner location was extremely enjoyable and relaxing for a... More

On a beautiful summer or autumn day it is a pleasure to sit on the porch of the venerable Wayne Hotel and enjoy a weekend brunch, lunch or tea. Sitting above the din of traffic on Lancaster Avenue with a view from above gives one the feeling of enjoying a mini holiday. Over a Mimosa and a green salad with... More

My favorite dish there is the (Northeast) Louie Salad...delicious. I'm not usually a salad person but after I ordered it the first time I was hooked. It contains lobster, scallops, crab, asparagus, avocado, bibb lettuce, and get it with the dressing it usually comes with, soooo good. Not cheap at $22 but you won't be starving 30 minutes later, it's a... More

While staying at The Wayne Hotel, we loved visiting The Paramour for our complimentary breakfast and really enjoyed heading in to sit at this fabulous bar to relax and have drinks. Alas the weather was too warm during our visit, otherwise we would have sat outside on the beautiful front patio. Plus when a hotel has a great bar and... More

We sat on the porch of the hotel and had a nice dinner. Good weather outside made it easy to enjoy the outdoor seating and the excellent food. Great french fries!!!! Entres and small plates available to suit almost any taste - I was eating light and my traveling companion had salmon that was excellent.

What a great place. The menu has a nice array of seafood and steaks. The time in presentation and preparation is evident. Each time I visit Im always amazed. Half price wine and prix fix menus during the week is super nice. Wine selection is top notch. Fancy cocktails too and finish with great house made deserts.

My husband and I went to Paramour the first time this month for our anniversary dinner. We saw the 3-course prix fixe diinner for $39/person available Sunday-Tuesday and decided to try it. There were three choices each of appetizer, main, and dessert, and a special half-price wine list was also offered. The wine list was more extensive than I expected... More

A friend gave us a gift card to enjoy the extraordinary brunch on Sunday, The restaurant is elegant and tasteful. We very much enjoyed our entree - the Paramour Eggs Benedict and would have liked more! The Bloody Mary Bar was fun and adventuresome! We had the best waiter who guided me in making my own for the first time!... More

Excellent, modern menu taking advantage of access to the many nearby farm communities. An all-around winner. Cuisine, drinks, decor all are top notch. A place for foodies and to relax. The bar is an especially pleasant place for relaxed dining. Paramour holds its own with much more aggressively priced high-end restaurants in Philly/NY/SF without the pretension, wait, or stuffiness. Probably... More

We held a week long business meeting at the Wayne Hotel in July. Our food was prepared by the awesome kitchen at Paramour. Each morning we had a breakfast buffet which featured French pastries made from scratch....still warm croissants were divine! Eggs and breakfast potatoes were wonderful, and the quiches we had on two days were the ultimate in decadence.... More
