We had a fun time with a great vibe sitting outside. Unfortunately the service was sub-par. We ordered our food and drinks. we were done our drink before the food came (not so Bad) but didn't get another drink until we were done half our food. They forgot our table-side Guacamole, and it came out last, not much need to... More

Excellent guacamole - made at your table , big chunks with just the right amount of garlic I would return to sample the other tapas

The Wayne business district held a festival on Sat. June 11. It was a small but nice event on a very hot day. Several of the restaurants were selling outdoor food and drinks for the crowd. Matador had a sign offering Margaritas so I decided to buy one to share with my wife. What a mistake ! Absolutely the worst... More

The food was ok however, the service was terribly slow. We had to ask repeatedly for basic items (water, chips). It was overpriced as well.

Been at matador twice. First visit for drinks and small bite to eat. Second for a quick lunch. Both times were great. Food is very fresh, not too much, just enough for me. Margaritas are out of this world.

The gazpacho soup was good but child sized portion. The entrees were very disappointing. We were quite embarrassed we had picked the place to join our friends for dinner.

We had booked on Open Table for a nearby restaurant that was actually closed. We walked over and they very graciously seated us(party of eight). Seating was a little tight but given the circumstances it was fine. Food was good but with the prices we had less food than expected. Luckily the kids were not hungry. Margaritas were average but... Party of 8 including 2 children. Our waitress never skipped a beat! Tapas came out at the perfect intervals, drinks were always replenished. Not a single disappointment!

My husband and I had made reservations at Xilantro. We arrived to find the restaurant had shut down although open Table had confirmed our reservations for that night. We stopped in at Matador where we were hospitably seated at the upstairs bar even though it was a full night for there. The bartender was excellent in recommending several small plates... More

Was here with a party of eight. Four couples. We had a lot to eat. We thought we ordered a lot but were not full when we finished eating. Enjoyed what we had but left hungry. We all actually went a block or two away to get dessert at the dinner near by and full up. Not sure if the... More
