Has a Great upbeat interior decor with sincere wait staff that always creates a great dining experience. The food is stimulating to the palate and to the eye. Come early because the locals have adopted this place as a second home. When there is a special celebration, our family frequently choses this restaurant.

While visiting the area we had dinner with friends. Our reservation was honored and we were seated immediately. Our server informed us that since it is Monday all wine was half price. What a nice surprise. Everyone was happy with their dinners and all ordered different things. Our server was very professional and personable.

Very good food. Very accommodating staff (they humored us while the balance of our party showed late - went to the wrong location). Bar at the entrance to wait for others was very handy - chatted with other patrons dropping their freshman at Villanova. Good food - farm to table and good wine selection. Nice build out - not over... More

Went for lunch with a party of 3. The food was very good but also expensive ( oysters $3 each...wow). First they didn't tell us about the bottomless bloody marys and champagne. Then they screwed up the order and brought brought wrong food. They also served the soup and main course at the same time. We asked for takehome bags... More

Several friends had recommended this establishment for brunch. This morning we gave it a go. The maitre d' was very friendly when my wife called to make a reservation. Her great attitude was still evident when we walked into the front door of the restaurant. The decor was different - the walls were covered in old window shutters; the lights... More

We had just completed a four hour hike at Tyler Arboretum and decided to try White Dog Café since I was intending to go their University City site when it was University City's Dining Days but couldn't go. I am so glad we went. First, we were treated like princesses! Second, they gave us the best seating in the house!... More

I had dinner here and the service was good, courteous, and the food very good, although the portion was small, it could have been a little larger.

Lunch with son & Midwest nephew, great place for our reunion. Great food, interesting menu. Have been at Penn campus cafe location several times; this one is more open, relaxed, friendly....

The four of us ate dinner in the "library" room on the 4th of July weekend. It was not crowded and the service from Jose was wonderful, as was the food. American fair with a gourmet touch.
