This is a good place to get a salad, quiche or yummy sandwiches. Also they have a scone of the month which has always been very good. They also sell British food items that would be found at grocery stores over there, as well as many kinds of tea. Very enjoyable place to eat for adults or well-behaved children.

Made a reservation for a Saturday afternoon. We were about 20 minutes early and the place was crowded. SInce we made the reservation they say is right way. We had full tea which included a small pot of you choice of individual tea, 8 finger sandwiches, a scone of you choice(large variety) and mini pastries about 6. The food was... More

It was very cool and the tea was very nice - lot's of choices. The finger sandwiches were great and the pastries very nice. Quiet relaxed environment. Our server was very nice and attentive. Only downside was that we didn't make reservations, so even though we arrived between 2:30-3 in the afternoon and there were multiple tables open for 4,... More

Although we did not have high tea, two of us had an assortment of tea sandwiches with either a special soup or a house salad. Others in the group had a frittata with a savory scone, a croissant with roast beef and brie, and a chicken pot pie. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Our server was pleasant and very helpful.

There are not too many British tea rooms in southeastern PA, but this is the best. The owner, Debbie, took an already good tea room and made it better. From Afternoon Tea to Welsh Rarebit, everything on the menu is good. They also have a shop area for British goods (condiments, candy, crisps, china, and cakes), as well as a... More

I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with friends at A Taste of Britain. As a group, we ordered the traditional afternoon tea. The owner shared with us a list of the different tea sandwiches as well as the scones of the day. She also shared with us the desserts to be served. A 3 tier serving tray arrived with the scone... We enjoyed a girls' afternoon tea. My favorite it the lemon chiffon herbal tea. I love it and it always tastes better drinking it there. I always buy some to take home too. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Service is always great. Food is always tasty and presented so perfectly. I have enjoyed every visit here.

Our nanny used to work here and that is what first got us to go. The design is like an English Tea Room. They serve finger sandwiches which are a bit different (some little kids might not like all - but they do have a kids menu). Cute atmosphere for a different type of outing ( a nice change)

This is our go-to tea place when we can't afford to fly over the pond and experience the real thing. As far as American tea houses go, A Taste of Britain does a splendid job of providing the whole afternoon tea experience. It's a small venue so reservations are a must. The food is delightful and believe it or not,... More
