I called two days before to see if they had a reservation for 4 available and if they had a Gluten free menu. The answer to both was yes, we made a reservation for 7:00 and our table was ready when we got there. We explained to the waiter that my wife has Celiac and needed to make sure the... More

I've been here for dinner, not impressed. Thought I'd try lunch because of the nice outdoor setting. Wedding soup was average, pricey at $5.95. Caesar salad was a bed of lettuce. Had to request bread. Diet Coke was flat even after being replaced. Had the stuffed peppers, good but three small peppers for $8.95. All of that may have been... More

was on business trip and decided on Italian. Their menu is very limited and specific. Very large portions, but if the food isn't that good, it does not matter. Very high costs. Better to serve smaller portions and lower the cost with more variety

We were in town for a seminar, and a family member suggested this restaurant for dinner. The ambience is quite lovely as it appears to be located in an old house. The service was great. Our salads and soup were served quickly, however it seemed to take much longer for the entrees. Overall the food was good, and not overpriced,... More

We arrived in Washington, PA tired and hungry after checking out of a horrible hotel in Morgantown, WV after being there for just a few hours because we could not tolerate staying at such a filthy, loud hotel. We checked into the Courtyard in Washington, PA which is a delight. The manager recommended this restaurant which is a treasure. The... More

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Palazzo 1837 for a business engagement. The service was outstanding, and the food was simply amazing. I highly recommend the Crab Hoelzel as an appetizer, and the filet was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the whipped potatoes nearly as much as the filet. Our server was very pleasant and accommodating. So glad... More

we stopped for dinner before going to a concert at the Meadowlands. This was our first visit to Palazzo. We had been to its predecessor restaurant, ALfanos, a number of times and found Alfano's to be good but grossly overpriced The food at Palazzo's was really good and fairly priced. The restaurant remains excessively, really, really noisy The service was... More

The calamari appetizer was good! Unfortunately my first 2 choices of cocktails: Prospector and silicilian rosemary were not available as they had run out ingredients. It was disappointing to hear such an established and reputable restaurant running out of ingredients on Saturday night. We tried the Vanilla & Rye; it was decent. The strawberry infused vodka was great! The wine... More

We had been here last year and so we returned. The restaurant wasn't very busy but that didn't bother us. We actually were seated at the same table we had last year. The menu had changed since our last visit, but still had a few items gluten free. We had Atlantic Turbot with Asiago risotto and carrots, with a lemon... More

We eat here a couple of times a month. Since I don't live far, it's a great place to go instead of driving to Pittsburgh. Food is very good, beer selection is good, bar is kind of small and dining is in separate small rooms. They have outside dining during the summer months, which is really nice at sunset. Definitely...
