Hungry for seafood and decided to give Solomon's Seafood a try. First visit. Appearance of building and surrounding area not impressive. We questioned whether to go in but had heard good things about the food so decided to have dinner. Plenty of convenient parking very close to the entrance. When we entered we were not particularly impressed with the décor.... More

A very pleasant nautical theme, spacious interior with dark blue walls, white trim and decorated with fish, oars, nets and other fishing gear. The server was very friendly and attentive. There are a couple of steaks and burgers, but the menu is primarily seafood and fish. I had the hand breaded jumbo shrimp, very tasty and served with a couple... More

The place is beyond beat-up, but the folks are warm and welcoming. Wine List is very basic, but OK. Anytime I can have J. Lohr Chardonnay with my fish, I'm OK. Looked like a good beer selection as well. Very nice variety of seafood on offer. I enjoyed my "lobster pot", which the menu and server explained is Chilean langoustine.... More

Great fish sandwiches, clam strips, shrimp. Fast, friendly service. Reasonable prices. Sit down service. But also can call ahead for take-out.

Sarah was a charming, attentive, and high-energy server. She had lots of enthusiasm. We enjoyed her squeals of delight. This restaurant uses an increasingly rare commodity. Bussers. There were attentive young ladies working the room solely to clear the tables of dishes and refill your water glass. Lots of good seafood. That is what we went there for. We saw... More

A friend told us about this place after we had been discussing that there were no decent seafood restaurants. Now it's one of our favorite places PERIOD! All kinds of seafood and reasonable prices. The staff is super friendly and the place is clean. I would recommend this place to any seafood lover in the area or even visiting. I... More

This was our first visit to Solomon's, what a nice cozy place. We were invited by a friend for dinner. The menu offers a wide variety of seafood. I had the sea scallops which were delicious, others had fish & chips as well as baked cod. The atmosphere was friendly and the service good. This is an out of the... More

We had been hear a couple years ago and this time it was even better than I remembered. The service was fast and friendly. The short rib was tender and delicious. The crab cake appetizer was one of the best crab cakes I have had in many years! Lots of crab and no filler. We will return for sure!

After a long day of research this was a great place for good food in a casual atmosphere. Outside looked like a funeral parlor, but inside felt like being on the Outer Banks of North Carolina and the wonderful southeastern menu offerings fleshed-out the illusion. Must have the Shrimp and Corn Fritters as an appetizer! Our steak and seafood entree... More
