Stopped in after an appointment nearby. Cute, calm, and spacious--not busy due to Covid, although a fre singles or couples were hanging out. My iced dark and stormy was perfect on a hit midday visit, enjoyed at an umbrella table outside facing the parking lot....I wanted to love this indie coffee shop, but the mushy, microwaved croissant egg sandwich left me disappointed--$15 for a latte and a tired breakfast entree was way overpriced for the quality. Will try again for the xoffeeand skip the food.More

On my way from New Castle to Pittsburgh, I wanted to stop at a coffee shop which is not part of a large chain. Generoasta was a great choice. I am sure that the food is good, but I only went with coffee. The house...blend was excellent, and the counter staff was very helpful in my choice of which blend I wanted.More

Something I practice when entering a business like a cafe or coffee shop is to take in the atmosphere and the little things that make a business great. Generoasta is obviously more than a coffee shop, with the amount of regulars I see, the community...engagement (pamphlets for outreach, other people's business cards to take, etc.), and the kindness/consistency that is always shown by Heather and company when ordering and striking up meaningful conversation. The coffe is consistently good and the food that I have had (sandwhiches and salads) are much better than similar businesses and chains. -JoshMore

This a great independent coffee house. Their coffee is excellent and it is frequented by lots of work-from-home people. It is quite a large place with a unique indoor fire pit. In warmer months they have nice outdoor seating. This place is good for breakfast...and lunch with an interesting selection of delicious sandwiches and salads and smoothies too. Also, once a month during warmer weather their parking lot is the site for the Pittsburgh chapter of Cars and Coffee if you’re into looking at exotic cars.More

I had one of Generoasta's salads for lunch today and was impressed. All the ingredients were fresh. What was supposed to be crispy, was ... and what wasn't supposed to be ..., wasn't! I did not get around to any of their coffees, but will...likely give that a try the next go round.More

I stopped at this Generoasta Coffee yesterday for the very first time.. I wasnt sure exactly what to get as I am a Starbucks Girl .. Kaitlyn was able to make a great suggestion for me to try - Celebes was the name of the...coffee and it was SPECTACULAR! I loved it and will be patronizing Generoasta frequently.. What kind and friendly Staff - Let's face it.. Coffee is all the same but it is the people that make the difference and Kaitlyn really made the difference for me !More

Down the street from where I live. A coffee shop that likes to give. Percentage goes to charity. A latte for her coffee for me. Plenty of space, wooden floors, friendly faces free wifi and meeting spaces. If I had some cash to burn I...would like to return. Prices are not very cheap if you can swing it make the leap.More

The environment for this coffee shop is visually stimulating, in a bad way with a large headache green wall. The latte I ordered was $4.50 and black coffee from my house would have tasted better. The large room and high ceilings make the business echoey,...and my husband and I could hardly hear each other even sitting side by side. Not a place to study, with loud hits playing. Next time I will be stopping by the library with a cup of Dunkin if I want a cozy quiet place to spend time.More

The coffee is great (my choice is the dark and stormy) but so is the food. My wife loves the veggie wrap and my kids LOVE the cookie jacks. They are amazing!
