Had dinner in their outdoor area. Beer list was long and excellent. Food was even better. We had an entree salad and a pasta dish, preceded by a steak appetizer. The dishes were generous and neither of us could finish everything ... but they were so tasty we wish our stomachs had been larger. Service was first-rate, too. If you're visiting Uniontown, eat here.

This place is a very nice restaurant and sports bar. Food selection was good and I enjoyed my salad and drinks but a little pricey! What our problem was that just about every waiter/waitress had their mask on with their noses uncovered. They made no attempt to wear the face mask correctly. We almost left, but it was late and we didn't know if we could go anyplace else as we were visiting from out of town.

Not a real restaurant feel; with wall to wall large screens and bar nearby. Food was average with gigantic portions. The gnocchi with sausage was so large I could only eat 1/3 of the dish. Maybe a Steelers lineman could devour the portion but not a mere mortal.

After calling in to place a takeout order for pizza at 6:30 pm, we were told to call back in an hour because the kitchen was so busy. Waiting an hour, no matter if you're at home or waiting in person, is still waiting an hour. Then to call back and be told that sorry, we aren't taking orders for takeout cause the restaurant is too busy, call back at 9:00 pm is just not right. Felt bad for the young lady who was answering the phone. Should never had been told to wait an hour to call back to place our order. We have been good customers and tip your waitstaff generously and don't deserve this kind of treatment.

We live nearby but had never eaten here. Met up with a group for dinner. The ambiance and food presentation was excellent. Very nice decor, nicely set tables. Service was pretty good. The food looked great! It was, however, not great. It was borderline bad. It was a large party and probably half of the people there did not like their food. I got the shrimp scampi and it had zero flavor, it was almost strange how little flavor there was in this pasta. The shrimp it’s self was ok (it just tasted like cooked shrimp—just shrimp flavor) you couldn’t taste butter, or olive oil, or garlic, or any seasoning at all. The noodles just tasted like noodles. It’s hard to explain how unflavorful this dish was. My kid got chicken strips and while they looked great —they were crispy and clearly hand breaded they, again, had zero flavor. It was bizarre. It was like you were chewing and could feel the texture but there was absolutely no taste. My husband felt similarly about his chicken parm. It’s like nothing had any seasoning at all. It was bizarre because the food looked so good. I don’t know if the chef was absent and someone was just back there winging it or what but it was odd how good everything looked and how poorly it tasted. This place is not cheap. Around 25 for your average entree so really the food should have been much better. It also took over an hour from the time we ordered to when we got our food, but that’s another story. We won’t be returning.

We really liked the menu and were excited to try Marilyn's. The waitress asked us within a minute after we were seated if we were ready for our drink order. We hadn't had a chance to look at the offerings. She came back within 2 minutes and asked if we wanted an appetizer...same thing, hadn't gotten through the menu yet. Then it was 15 minutes until we saw her again. It's you can see the whole dining area from our table and she was nowhere to be seen on 10-15 minute occasions multiple times during our visit. The meal took an hour and 45 minutes.
We were there 30 minutes before bread was brought out. Dinner came out shortly after appetizers and way too soon to have them finished. Bread was cold, french onion soup was luke warm, baked pasta dish wasn't even hot, and my fries were slightly warm. It took a long time to get the meal and a long time to get the check. Despite asking for the check, the waitress came back 15 minutes and asked if we wanted dessert, so we had to ask for the check again. Even the prosecco was flat with no bubbles.
Unfortunately, this was bad on every level. It didn't look like the other tables were getting better service. Of there was a manager present, it wasn't obvious. It's a shame because i think the food would've been fine if served hot.

I made a reservation for a large party prior to a show at the State Street Theater. The reservation was for 4:30 and show was at 7:00.
When the first group of the party arrived, they were told they didn’t have the reservation. They confirmed with the manager, so we had to wait for them to set up the tables. We got seated closer to 5:00 and our server took our drink orders and then our dinner orders.
The restaurant was short staffed as many staff members were working at the county fair. They brought our food out in waves. By the time everyone had their food (one member of the party never got her’s) we didn’t have much time to eat prior to the show. After paying, we missed the first 15 minutes.
I have eaten here before and enjoyed the food. It is a great location for dinner before or after a show at the theater.
I am disappointed with the management staff for not pulling staff members from the fair to work in the restaurant knowing the increase in business from those going to the show.

Should of been a red flag. went in and not one person at the bar or pub tables. We sat down and waited for a good 5 minutes before anyone came to our table. The girl took our drink order then didnt return for another 5 minutes and asked if we wanted water. 10 minute later we got water and still no bar drinks. Finally after she quit talking to the girl out front and walked past our drinks sitting at the bar she brought them over 2 at a time Why not get a tray . Then we finally got dinner which was good. but we ordered a few more drinks at the bar and they sat there and finally i went up from our table and got the drinks myself. this girl was terrible between he ron her phone and sitting up front with the other girl she basically did nothing . This place has really gone down hilll. I am ok with the menu change but service is terrible. there is a reason why nobody at 6:30 on a saturday is not sitting at this bar having a beer, I cant image this place will be open much longer. It is very sad because it was a really nice place.

In warm weather, the outside dining was lovely! My view was of the gorgeous restored State Theater. It felt like I had a personal dining retreat. The food was 5-star and the service matched. I can't speak to dining indoors at Marilyn's on Main, since I am not a TV person, but if you like an upscale pub atmosphere with large screen TVs, great food, and don't mind spending a little extra, it's the place to go!

Horrible service. Our waiter was so rude. We had never been here before, we will never go back. His name was Justin.

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER! We wanted to take guests visiting from Oregon to a nice dinner. Marilyn's has the reputation of being the finest in Uniontown, so we went there. Such a MISTAKE - we were SO EMBARASSED! Our poor waitress apologized hundreds of times - they were out of shrimp cocktail, they were out of Rose wine, they didn't have baked potatoes, they didn't have cocktail sauce . . . she made so many trips back to our table, each time apologizing for yet another issue. Our drinks came out one at a time - by the time everyone had a drink, we were ready for seconds (which, by the way took forever, and again came out one at a time?!?!?!). The final straw was that out of our party of 6, 5 of us got our dinners - the 6th dinner took another 30 minutes. All of our dinners were cold by the time the last person received his dinner. As a token of apology, they comped the 6th dinner, which still left us with a bill of almost $400 . . . for a dinner that was a complete embarassment! The manager's explanation . . . "it happens". We will NEVER GO BACK! Save your money . . . go somewhere else, Marilyn's on Main is a FAIL!

Spacious eating area and very good service; although a little noisy from all the TV's but really wasn't a problem. Excellent soup and salads and the burgers were tremendous. Nice selection of craft beers and had and excellent cocktail. Would stop back but one word of warning. Unless you are looking for ballast for a clipper ship, don't order the gnocchi. Have never had a bowl of dense, heavy sinkers like these. Really.

My wife and I were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn in Uniontown a night before visiting Falling Waters and Kentuck Knob. We asked the woman at the desk where we should eat that was not a chain restaurant and she recommended the restaurant at the hotel and Marilyn's on Main.
It was a quick drive to downtown Uniontown and we were not disappointed. Marilyn's on Main offers an Italian style menu, a large bar (with lots of draft beer and even more TV's) and a nice place for dinner. We tried the meatballs for an appetizer and both had the scallops for dinner. My wife had the "menu" scallops and I had the special scallops. Both were excellent with each serving coming with four huge scallops. My dinner included linguine while my wife's had a risotto.
We did not have room for dessert.
If you are in Uniontown and are looking for a very good place to eat, I recommend Marilyn's on Main as one of the best places to eat in Uniontown.
Happy hour is between 4-6 PM with half priced beers and appetizers.

This place has by far the best beer selection in town. There has to be at least 30 beers on tap and they are usually craft beers. Amazing bartenders! They can make anything you want, they are fast and efficient and the drinks always taste amazing. Best service in town.
The only thing that i do not like is that they don't have any gluten free options available. Their menu has many selections and the food always looks amazing!

Stopped at Marilyn's on Main on Sunday night (no reservation) and snagged one of the last available tables on the patio. Ordered the fish tacos which were very yummy. Just enough food. The service and food were very, very good.
