Very pleasantly surprised by the food & the service. It’s a BYOB which we love. Menu is huge and the service was great every time. It’s a little far for us but it’s good enough that we’ve gone a few times and brought the kids....Tacos are great and so are the burritos.More
Family loves it, big portions, BYOB and free margaritas! I recommend the burrito al pastor, and the kids love the rice and cheese quesadilla.
We ordered using Grub Hub and loved every thing we ordered. The Quesadilla was cheesy and friend perfectly. The burrito was large and tasted authentic. The refried beans were the best we have ever tasted. We can't wait to order again. Thank you!
A friend said the owners were Central American and the pupusas (corn cakes) were good, so we went. Our experience with Central American restaurants has been mixed, and we have sometimes found them unattractive or poorly organized, even if the food is decent. But we...were happy to find a pleasant dining room (maybe a little dark) with a good selection of foods on the menu. The pinchos were abundant and good-quality chicken. The corn cakes were big and good tasting, too. Two of us shared the two dishes above and our bill was less than $20. A tasty and economical experience!More
We frequent Los Gemelos and it has become our go to for authentic, tasty Mexican/Cento American food. You can't beat the prices, and the staff is friendly. I wouldn't call the setting "upscale" but it is always clean and we enjoy our visit. Highly recommend...the tacos dorados (think homemade taquitos), chimichanga, fajitas mixtas, or anything with the pork carnitas. Have a friend who doesn't like Mexican? You can still go as a group because they offer steaks and cheeseburgers. Overall highly recommended.More
My husband and I found this restaurant on the internet and decided to it. First impressions were that it is run down on the outside. The terracotta roof is falling off and a big chunk was at the front door. Their were weeds everywhere but...we peeked inside and it didn't look to bad, so we thought we would give it a try. Their was a TV on, with a foreign soap opera playing. It was very distracting, but all the staff seemed to enjoy watching it. The food was at best, mediocre. I posted pictures of the restaurant, so you can see that the outside of the building has been neglected.More
A great experience, been here several times and never disappointed. Every time, I've tried something different, and the food is amazing, not severely over seasoned and I believe everything is made to order. Enjoy this food and trying new items on their menu.
Tiniest Fajita Tortillas I've ever seen, steak was very grissely, and not narrowly sliced like most Fajitas, won't be back. Sorry.
I was happy to find a Mexican restaurant in our neighborhood. After moving from Texas, I’ve been on the hunt for good Mexican food. I’ve never had a bad meal here, the prices are pretty decent and...they deliver!!
Don’t understand the previous reviews raving about the restaurant. Friendly server and the positives end there. Food quality was terrible. Cassava meal completely overdone and left in deep fryer far too long, pork was entirely fat, had to be ground down and chewed forever. Taco...trio was not good, particularly the steak taco which had very low grade beef. Final entree was presented sloppily, food all over the plate. Service was fine and friendly. First and last visit. Should be 2 stars but I don’t like maligning places who seem to be striving to make a go of it. Still, a review of suppliers or choice of product when the restaurant places an order is needed here.More
My husband and i LOVE mexican food. When we found this place, we werent expecting anything too fabulous but we were excited to try it. We've been to a few mexican restaurants in the area, and while they were all good, they didnt offer anything...mind blowing. AND then we found Los Gemelos. I want to say go VERY hungry and get the tamales or tacos as an appetizer. The rice that they serve is like butter. It's fluffy, tasteful, and they give you a large serving size. Even the lunch specials are massive. Everything was very well priced as well. Did i mention they deliver?1?!?!?!?!?More
This restaurant by far is the best new restaurant in the area. It's been opened for over a year now. The food tastes great, the portions are large, the prices are very reasonable and atmosphere is pleasant. Los Gemelos is not a large restaurant (maybe...15 tables) but that's one of reasons why my family loves it (it's not loud). The waitresses are wonderful. I can't say enough good things about the wait staff. I've personally recommended this restaurant to about a half a dozen people already and they've all come back to me saying how good the food was and they were not disappointed. Try their Chimichanga or the "new" Burrito bowl or the Fajitas Mixtas or Enchiladas Supreme. You can't go wrong with any menu choice. On Friday nights they have a complimentary Pina Colatta or on Saturday nights you can have a complimentary Margarita for those over 21 of course. Both drinks are delicious and refreshing!! It's also BYOB. Love, love, love this restaurant. Welcome to the area. If you live in the Telford/Souderton area, try Los Gemelos Family Restaurant just once and you'll go back again and again and again. The food and prices are that good.More
My husband and I ordered chicken chimichanga, chicken burrito, platano frito, chicken quesadilla. The portions are large and the price is reasonable. Highly recommend!
Huge portions! Happy diners; pleasant, knowledgable wait staff greet you with a big serving of corn chips, refried beans and hot sauce. Off to a great start. Over 100 items on the menu, all the usuals plus plantains, huevos, chorizo, pork chops, cassava, shrimp, tilapia,...lengua. The burritos are humongous! Lots of folks having leftovers the next day. Eight kinds of soda.More
