If you are gluten free or not, this is the restaurant for you! Their food was fantastic! So much flavor. The black bean tacos were amazing! The gluten free cheese biscuits...oh my! Yum yum yum. If we were ever in this area again, this would...be where we would eat. Our server was awesome!More

Garlic is a lovely, upscale setting in downtown Stroudsburg. My husband and I stopped in for a drink and to check out the restaurant as a possible location for our son's upcoming wedding rehearsal dinner. We shared a flatbread pizza while we were there and...each enjoyed a wonderful cocktail. The service was wonderful and the owner could not have been nicer. They were more than willing to accommodate some dietary needs. We're looking forward to our upcoming celebration at Garlic!More

This was our first visit to Garlic. Made Reservation thru Open Table for 5:30. Restaurant has lovely ambiance, hardwood floors, simple but tasteful decor and background music. Server and expediter were both excellent and very professional. Nothing was ever rushed and dishes were always promptly...cleared. Server fully explained all specials to us. I started with a "Honey Bear" Martini. It was a great tasting, shaken pear martini. Then had the Ricotta Salad, which the Salad portion was perfectly dressed and flavorful with a few grape tomatoes...ricotta was on the side. Cracked pepper was offered. Salad has an interesting presentation...served on what appeared to be a piece of slate but it was clearly not. We had the French Onion Soup and I the Lobster Bisque. Both had great flavor. I had lobster in each spoon and the crostini was the perfect touch. I had the Special: Pan Seared Grouper with Saffron Rice and and Broccolini and better half had the 14 Ounce Sirloin Steak, Medium Well with Garlic Mashed and Broccolini. Grouper was the best seasoned fish I have had out in ages! Saffron Rice was moist. Steak appeared was wonderfully seasoned and juicy. The Garlic Mashed were served in a 2 inch iron skillet...again unique presentation! Both of our Broccolini was flavorful and not in any way overcooked. Because of the shear amount of food we ordered, we opted not to order appetizers/small plates or even dessert. Bill without tip was about $135 for the two of us. We left pleased!More

Service was great, but the food was average. A little overpriced for the quality. They also made a change that you have to pay $1 for steak enhancements instead of it being free. Weird.

Very good steak and lobster options and reasonably priced for the quality ingredients. Highly recommended. Make reservations to ensure you get a table.

Try it all, but definitely ask for bread and Lobster Mac and Cheese - heavenly! Ambience is calming and menu selections are unique, with some standards like a great filet mignon.

Been there twice first time I would've gave it 4 stars second time 2 stars there why I give 3 stars, expensive for what you get as far as food.

Had dinner reservations for 7 people. Everyone absolutely enjoyed their meal, even the little one who is 8. Everything was delicious from the appetizers, to the drinks and the deserts! Wish they had a restaurant closer to me, I’d be a regular.

I'm just moving back to the Poconos after 15 years away, and it's great to see new restaurants. After going to Garlic a few times for drinks with friends, I was looking forward to trying a NY Strip Steak and see if the food matched...the hype. Simply put, the steak was great. And the two red wines suggested by the bartender, the Cab and Pinot Noir that evening were very good. I really like the ambiance here and the NY Strip matches NYC restaurants. Another great addition to the Poconos and StroudsburgMore

We live locally and are always on the lookout for a fine dining experience. Garlic does not disappoint. My wife and I dropped in on a week night without reservations and they were able to accommodate us. However, the caveat to that was that it...was very busy - I recommend reservations. Service was quick and drinks showed up right away. There is a good selection steaks, chops and seafood. Both my wife an I had the filet mignon and it was prepared perfectly (medium rare) and melted on our mouths. The vegetables were fresh and were served tender crisp. The portions are sufficiently sized to please... Highly recommend for in town residents or out of town visitors looking for fine dining.More

We went on a Saturday night. It was mostly couples. There were a few tables of families. The kids were over 5 years old. and dressed like it was a special occasion. The wait staff was patient and attentive.
