We enjoyed a late lunch at the Sowers Harvest Cafe. This unassuming little place has indoor & outdoor (for COVID) seating. And the food...generous servings of delicious fresh food. We enjoyed a fresh baked gigantic soft pretzel with parmesan, while waiting for our paninis (chicken/bacon/ranch...and BBQ chicken with onion & pineapple). Highly recommend eating here when you are in State College.More

Thank you so much! It was a pleasure to serve you.
A friend from out of town asked where they should go for lunch, first I suggested Sowers Harvest and then I said, “I will just take you”. Been there several times and it is always delicious. Breakfast and pretzels look delicious but I go for...the paninis. All fresh ingredients and unbelievably delicious with incredible service.More
`I am not complaining but the cost for 2 seems to be high. You get good quality food with good service. On weekends, the family shows up. The Sowers make babies like they make good food. Their kids are delightful.
This place is the best! The staff is so accommodating, there are games/bean bags for kids, and the menu includes gluten-free alternatives. My personal favorite is the GF pumpkin chocolate chip muffin and veggie pesto omelet! Oh, and the lattes...heavenly!
This place is always the number one choice to meet up with friends. They have great espresso drinks and coffee. Breakfast foods are so delicious. The Chipotle bacon sandwich is my favorite. Never disappoints
Came here on a visit to Penn State & got the Breakfast special "Dilla". It was cream cheese, kale, tomatoes, egg, and bacon in a wrap and it was PHENOMENAL. I still can't stop raving about it. Everything from the bread wrap it was on...to the cream cheese they used was amazing and made for a fantastic breakfast. The only down-side was that I asked for an Orange Juice (expecting it to be fresh squeezed in a place like this, and to my disappointment I was served a glass of 'Simply Orange Juice'), next time will opt for the house coffee and try out the house roasts.More
We ate at Sowers based on the reviews and we were all glad we did. Prices are not cheap for breakfast however the portions are large, ingredients are fresh and service is friendly and efficient. Their honey almond latte was the best latte I have...ever had!More
