We had dinner with another couple and three PSU students who are fairly "fussy" eaters. We chose Whiskers because of the varied menu and everyone was very satisfied. Portions were great and everything seasoned to our liking. The service was quick and the decor was...attractive. And we didn't need to go out in the cold to get there.More

While dropping my daughter off at school, we decided to take her to lunch and Whiskers had a very good selection of vegetarian selections, which is always a challenge. Service was outstanding, very attentive, decent beer selection, and lunch menu had something for everyone. Daughter...got the vegetarian wrap with sweet potato wedges, which were delicious. My burger was very good and my wife's chicken sandwich was also good. I would go back without hesitation.More

We have been to the Inn numerous times. We decided to take some visiting friends to their special event they call "Winesday" on Wednesday evenings. This was our first time for this "event". Our first hint of how it would be was upon walking into...the Whiskers Bar and asking the hostess to tell us more about how Winesday worked. She stared at us with us blank face and said "I don't know what you are talking about. Maybe your server will know?" From there it went downhill. The server said they had a paper with a flight of 3 pinot gris we might want, but that's all she could think of. What a disappointment and some embarrassment in front of our friends. "Winesday" is advertised as featuring "world-class wines that helped us get our Wine Spectator Award and they'll be featured at great prices. " Well, not at all. We did leave Whiskers and go to the main dining room for dinner, which was good as always. But I would not go to Winesday again. So disappointing.More

We had dinner here during our stay at the Nittany Lion Inn. A couple of the servers seemed quite new and a bit inexperienced but the food was very good. We enjoyed the fact that they served Creamery ice cream for dessert! Thanks for that!

We had lunch here July 11 Pros Large portions They validate parking for west deck garage Cons Very limited menu Restaurant was freezing cold It took quite a while for the hamburger and chicken sandwiches to be served even though the restaurant was not very...crowded. Service was average not great, not horrible but very inattentive at times. Left 15% tip rather than my usual 20%+ tip Food was good, but nothing special Not sure we would return, but not many nicer places to chose from in the areaMore

Had dinner here in late June while staying at NLI. Excellent service. Nice menu selections. Enjoyed a veggie wrap & crab cake sandwich. If you like olives, get the wrap.

Ate on a Thursday evening in the restaurant so very quiet. Some of the best cheddar broccoli soup we have ever had! Really great. Nice atmosphere. Lots of wood, windows. Appreciated all the university flags on display as we are Ohio State Buckeye fans and...loved seeing our flag up there! The azaleas were blooming right outside our window in the restaurant so a lovely view for sure. A little on the expensive side for what you get, but overall a good experience.More
