Amazing the crowds that know of this extra special place away from State College. Every visit is a toss-up for breakfast . . . The Naked Egg or The Waffle Shop, both on the western end. The Naked Egg has great specialty dishes (not just...More

Small like a diner should be. Ate here on a Saturday morning about 10. Was busy but we got seated fairly quick. Food was delish, service great. Saw some people bring champagne and make mimosas!

We went here based on good reviews. Although there were empty tables we had a significant wait. Once we were seated, we sat quite a bit longer. Plates were piled on empty tables around us, so I think there must have been a staffing problem...More

I wasn't completely blown-away by this place, but it was a nice local eatery to sample. The staff were nice-enough, but not quick at all. So don't got expecting to be able to eat and leave quickly - probably won't happen...

We visit State College once a year for a Penn State Mens Basketball and Hockey games. Our usual breakfast restaurant is, of course, The Waffle Shop on College Ave. This year we decided to try something different and chose The Naked Egg......So happy we did!...More

Wow. Had a great breakfast. Neat place. Food is very good; just be prepared for a long wait of a weekend. Timing is everything. But worth the stop you will enjoy!!

Choices are good and food is ok. I wouldn't say it's the best, so making the right choice is important. I like the atmosphere and the service is great. One con... it's really cold in the winter due to a lot of windows. Outside of...More
