Food is always fantastic. Don't go there for friendly service though. We make a game of seeing if we can make the waiter crack a smile. Judge the food by the clientele - its mostly asian students and staff from PSU. We reckon they can spot a good/authentic place a mile off.

The food here reminds me of the time when I used to live in Singapore. Very good food but a tad bit expensive. Must try!

Being relatively new to Asian quisine the huge menu is a bit daunting. Some questions about items went unanswered because of language issues, a common occurrence. Supper was a delicious big bowl of Won Ton soup and a interesting appetizer called roti canai, flat bread toast points, chicken, potato and dipping sauce. Service was what you would expect because of... More

This was my first visit to Penang and first time in over twenty years trying Thai food. The food was excellent. I tried the Drunk Man. It was unique to me, but very good. My shrimp choice was terrific, excellent shrimp. The meal came with a side salad with ginger dressing, which was good too. The ambiance was nice --... More

Just stopped in for sushi. I had the house special steamed clams and it was a large portion and yummy and hot on a cold day. Service was fast and the prices were good.

Our work group enjoyed lunch here in September. It is off campus, so not as crowded or noisy as many locations that are walking distance. We all enjoyed soup and an entree. The food was excellent with many options, as were the drinks. The service was good, but not exceptional. The menu was coded with 'heat' values for those who... More

I may be old fashioned, but I prefer my cuisines "straight" so a place that seems to do Malaysian (no surprise given the name) , Thai, Chinese and sushi prompted some suspicion. However, I wasn't choosing so my prejudices did't come into play. We stuck to Malaysian and were happy with the experience, and while the staff weren't rushing to... More

Expect that your servers will look pretty sad and don't take this personally, it seems the people here don't feel any extra effort is needed. Expect very good Malaysian food. Expect very mediocre Thai and Chinese. Not sure about the quality of their Japanese. I wouldn't hesitate to go again to eat their Malay dishes, but somewhat more pricy for... More

Everything I've had here has been great. The staff is really good about helping you choose a dish if you're new to sushi.

I've been meaning to try Penang since my daughter began attending PSU. It has a pretty good rating on TripAdvisor, so I thought it would be worth a visit. We entered with a bit of trepidation because few people were there, and the ambiance wasn't particularly promising. Once the food was served, however, we were really impressed. The portions were...
