We took my mom to the dairy for ice cream while she was visiting her sisters in State College. Like a trip down memory lane, not much has changed here. Long lines that move pretty quickly, young people scooping ice cream at quick pace and lots of kids running around covered with sticky melting treats. The ice cream is good.... More

Fun place to people watch on a busy Sat. night. Cool how so many people were in and out exchanging old-timey milk bottles. Their other offerings looked good, too, favorable prices for honey. Tried the rum raisin, chocolate and blackberry flavors of ice cream and thought all three lacked very much flavor, but this is apparently the happening place, preferred... More

This place has been part of my life for almost 50 years ... they offer great value for a quiet night out, I like to sit at the picnic tables and enjoy the cool night air.

They have amazing milk and it is extremely fresh. They also have really great ice cream's and some very different flavors. Their cheeses are also pretty good.

Maybe the milk is OK? But if you visit for ice cream, there are just a couple of old wood tables outside. They're covered in crud. So I stood to eat my slush. Our ice cream--nothing special--arrived melted. My wife pointed it out. The high school servers said "What do you want from us?" So the man next in line... More

Our family buys milk exclusively at Meyer Dairy. It is yummy and coveted by family members of all ages. There have been multiple arguments over who gets the first and last serving from each half-gallon. The milk is a bit more expensive that what you would find in a typical grocery store, but the difference is not huge (usually about... More

Great and unusual flavors: maple walnut, coconut chip. Large serving is HUGE and very inexpensive. Loved it!

Ice cream as good as, if not better than, The PSU Creamery. Sandwiches are good, too. Parking is easier than The Creamery, too.

After a 16 year absence, we went back to State College to visit for the First Night Celebration and I took my husband and kids to Meyer Dairy which I had loved when I lived there. It is an old-fashioned dairy where they process the milk and make the ice cream on site. The dairy farm itself is adjacent to... More
