They have. Lots of options for Breakfast or Lunch. So many sandwiches. They were a little busy but I got the feeling it was everyone's first day. Really good food. A tad on the pricy side for a deli but there was no organized system for the staff to follow as far as I could see.

My husband and I usually stop in at "The Deli" when we visit Penn State. My husband and I both had a dish that had two potato pancakes, grilled pastrami, Cole slaw and dressing. So good!

Food is overpriced and the delivery time is slower than I was in Algebra class. Food is also tastes mediocre even when still intoxicated from the night before.

I was in town for work and decided to stop into this restaurant for lunch. I've been here before and didn't have any complaints so I recommended we go here since it was close to our meeting. We first entered the establishment where we were greeted by the manager (I think). We told him there were seven of us and... More

Took the family here for breakfast and was a little concerned with the mixed reviews. The place is a 5 for quality food. All premium boars head meats. We had 4 different items chill, Franco Harris Ruben, bobby Ingram burrito, coffees, egg bagel, all were excellent. Service was fine. Would recommend and return.

was in town for business and ordered a panini for lunch one day. Tasted great and their different options for sandwiches are great! Would eat here again!

Food was okay- I got a ruben. The sauerkraut was off and the side of mac and cheese was only two bites big, though. I could hear one of the managers in the kitchen yelling and swearing at the staff while you're eating, though, and that kills the atmosphere, but I also feel bad for the staff.

OMG - the best sandwiches around. Good luck narrowing down your choice with the extensive menu. (I personally recommend the chicken salad.) Everything is fresh and homemade. The staff is sooooo pleasant. And there is never a long wait even when the place is full. Deeeeeelish!

I had a panini for lunch. I was up there visiting my son who lives off campus. The panini was wonderful and the owner personally waited on us. He was a great guy. I would recommend this place for lunch when you're visiting downtown State College.

This used to be know as the "Stage Door Deli," with the sandwich combinations named after movie stars. Better combinations and better names now, with the sandwiches named after notable Penn Staters. (And yes, there are many, which will cause you to linger over the menu making up your mind). Great deli fare, good portions. You can eat in at... More
