Not large, but covers all the bases of items. Dinner was also very good. Excellent and attentive service.

...and lukewarm food. First time the Inn has let us down. We have eaten here on numerous occasions and the signature lobster bisque was not hot. The food was very tasty but ... The management was kind and accomadating. We will give the inn another chance in the future. Hopefully the dinner will be a 4 star as before.

We were at Nitnay Lion Inn for a business conference. We met with a couple folks from a supplier for a very pleasant and tasty dinner. Three of the folks had the meatloaf which was judged to be excellent. I had the crab cakes which were ok, not seasoned exactly to my taste. Two of us started with lobster bisque... More

We really had a great breakfast here. Best Eggs Benedict I think we ever had, anywhere in the country. They were also super quick in their service. Joe, our waiter , was funny and loads of fun.

Visited here while on a business trip to Penn State. Lovely atmosphere, if a bit reserved. We were one of only a very few groups there, but since it was midweek I wonder if their primary diners visit on weekends. Meal descriptions were intriguing, but I personally found their execution a bit bland. Service was impeccable, and we had ample... More

We ate at this restaurant last night for the first time. We have been desperately searching for a good restaurant at State College since our son is graduating from Penn State this year, and it would be nice to find a place to celebrate after his graduation. We are still looking. The restaurant was not crowded at all since it... More

Every year I have to eat at The Dining Room. The Lobster Bisque is amazing. I also had a great tasting crab cake.

We really enjoyed breakfast at The Dining Room on out last visit so we were looking forward to it this time. Unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. The the food was barely warm and was certainly not fresh. The eggs were rubbery and the bacon was chewy. Next time we'll skip the buffet and have it cooked to order.

This restaurant is a Penn State mainstay. Food quality is good as is the service. The atmosphere is a bit stodgy. Good selection on the menu.
