I heard from hubby we have to go to the Dairy Cottage. Being from Springfield and knowing the history of this place. He frequented many times after high school with his buddies. Going back to the 1950's, he reminisced how Dairy Cottage would make their own ice cream located at the back of the building. I always passed this quaint... More
Great service, in and out quickly is important to me. Ms. Lisa, pretty sure that was the name, runs the knotty-pine room with ease. eggs medium nice, toast and jelly on the table, wish they had a nice outside deck for that spring/fall coffee stop. See you next time when I need a friendly smile.
We couldn't travel far, and were so grateful that Dairy Cottage was so friendly and delicious. We had breakfast and lunch both eat in and take out. It had been almost 25 years since I last visited this sandwich & pizza shop. The place hasn't changed much but was clean & neat with the friendly staff I remembered. If you want a REAL Phila cheesesteak you need to visit.
We love this place. Great food, great service! Great white pizza with spinach and chicken and we love their fries and cheese steaks! They pack the sandwiches and it's delicious. Wonderful wraps too! Great place for ice cream in the summer too!

I believe Lisa has been with the company for several years as she knows every patron by name. I will be back , now that I found a good cup of coffee and... More
My brother, daughter, and I stopped here while visiting some friends in Springfield after seeing reviews on trip advisor. We ordered a large white pizza.with ricotta, tomatoes, and spinach. It was delicious. The waitress and all the staff were very friendly. We are glad that we chose this place as one of our dinner stops while in the Phillie area.
