Still a great place to eat. We ordered the buffet and it was just as good as ever. Some new casseroles. The fresh carved meats were better than before. Same great desserts. The pies are improved, better crusts than before. Raspberry iced tea was better...More

true to the new owners promise they pretty much kept to the original buffet dishes. Debby our waitress was attentive and extremely pleasant. Will go again.

Were part of a bus group for early afternoon meal. Staff were ready for us with tables set and ice water poured. I thought the salads, soup and deserts were the best. Meat load was cold and rather dry. Tasty chicken but the gravy was...More

The Oakhurst Tearoom closed last Christmas and reopened with new ownership in Feb 2017 as the Oakhurst Grill. We had a group of 100 eat there recently. The ambiance is gone, granted they are undergoing some renovations. The service was reported as inconsistent among members...More

Food was great and everyone was friendly. Only complaint is that my table waited for over 15 minutes for drink refills.

My daughter had her wedding here late March. Owners were really great to work with, staff was very friendly and helpful. The hostess on duty while we were setting up kept checking on us and got us a server so we could have lunch while...More

Very clean, good food, great service. Soups were great. Salad bar, very good. Desserts very good. Heard some bad reviews but checked it out ourselves and have to say it was very good. Home style cooking. Not heavily seasoned.

Feel bad giving three stars, but the meal was just okay. Service however was excellent. New decor was kind of plain, like newlyweds buying a new home and not having any money for furniture. Recipes seemed the same as old ownership. A better review would...More

The Oakhurst is finally undergoing a decades-overdue renovation! Gone are the tattered tablecloths, the captain's chairs from the 1970's, the sad little gift shop, the stained ceiling tiles and most importantly, the moldy smell that permeated everything in the place. The new owners are obviously...More

You had the option of a menu or buffet. There was a bar area and also private meeting rooms, and a souvenir area/crafts area. Food was very basic and not outstanding. Service was ok.

I know people who eat here and have nut allergies. They have wait staff on hand that you can ask what the ingredients are in the dishes. However, you are taking a bigger risk with a vast variety of food on the buffet. You... More

I agree w/rebboeb's suggestions. Another choice is the Pine Grill. Comfortable, American style, friendly service, they remembered us the second time we were there. Pine Grill is right downtown near the PA Turnpike exit... More
