Very cute diner with parking on the street right in front of it. We arrived shortly after opening and were the first customers there. A few more people came while we were there but it doesn’t appear to have a lot of business in the...early morning. There was only one waitress. She waited on us promptly and was very friendly. Ordered the Donna’s signature eggs with cream cheese and chives. The eggs were room temperature but very good. Coffee was hot. Homefries very good and sausage well done. Diner very clean and tidy and redone to era decorMore

We made a quick stop while traveling through Sharon This afternoon. We had two desserts and coffee, the Dutch apple pie and ice cream were perfect!!! The coffee was fresh ground and tasted as such (delicious)! The young lady that waited our table seemed bothered...by serving customers- I must admit I am learning to accept this behavior- This is the new norm for younger servers.More

Loved this little place by the river in downtown Sharon, PA. Our food was delicious, my cherry coke was tasty, and the dessert we shared was great. We thought the prices were reasonable. Parking can be an issue, as it’s mostly street parking or finding...a parking lot and walking a bit. Planning a return visit the next time we are in the area. Enjoy!More

Loved the diner atmosphere but overall experience was disappointing. Food was so-so for the price, had 2 sandwiches and sodas, bill came to $36.00. Reuben had good flavor but was too juicy, the side of the bread on the bottom was soggy and fell apart....My husband had the fish sandwich, fish portion was small and bun was huge and not very fresh. Service was initially slow, took a while to be waited on, after food was delivered there was a lot of follow-up from the staff. One staff member who manned the register and helped deliver food sneezed a lot into her hands, went in the back afterwards and came out quickly, hopefully she cleaned her hands back there.More

Just walking up to the front door you can feel something great was going to happen. Pulling open the front door the music and interior filled those thoughts of the Rock n’ Roll days. We were warmly greeted and directed to our table. I picked...the Big Burger with house chips, my wife had the smaller burger with sweet potato fries. When our order’s arrived the house chips were fresh and still a bit warm, the my burger was cooked to perfection. My wife’s order was just as good, and she gave me two or three sweet potato fries to taste. MUM good! In the background the music played, the photos, and 50’s motif just added to and made our lunch.More

Back in my home town and hungry! Depending on the time of day and if an event is going on downtown, parking can be an issue, thankfully not the case today. My wife had a basic cheeseburger while I had the Chubby Checker- burger with...Swiss cheese grilled onions and mushrooms, lettuce and tomato. We also had some great coleslaw. The homemade chips are awesome too!More

For a diner, Donna's exceeded our expectations. We ordered a burger and a salad for take out, and it was delivered to us warm and attractively displayed in the take-out containers.

Stopped for late lunch, the special was a stroganof burger, was ok. I ordered it medium was a little well done, but they milkshakes were to die for. Mine was chocolate peanut butter, and my husband had apple pie.

We enjoyed our meal. Nice tables near river. Clean lawn area. Tuna melt was great. Not a fan of chips with the powder seasoning. Didn’t have the shakes but they looked good. Staff very friendly.

A friend and I stopped in for lunch last Sunday afternoon. I've been before and was excited to share with my guest..Loved the Ruben tots that last time. It was slightly busy but there were open tables. There was a couple in front who was...also waiting to be seated. After a reasonable amount of time being ignored I went up to the counter where two servers were engrossed in a grand and lively conversation while they were making milkshakes. Before I decided to leave and go somewhere else I asked how much longer they thought it would be before we could be seated. They said they were busy and I'd have to wait. As I turned away I heard them call me rude. The four people waiting for a table were being very patient so I'm not sure how I ended up being rude. Highly disappointed by the experience and not sure that I am going to go out of my way to come back any time soon.More

It was just okay. The pros: delicious milkshake and it was huge, good onion rings, Mac and cheese tasted ok, nothing special but... The cons: sat for 10 - 15 min before the waitress showed up and there were only about 10 people in the...restaurant! Mac and cheese was very cold and the topping was just shredded cheese from a bag that wasn’t melted or broiled in any way - straight from the bag to the plate, and cold. I’d go back for the milkshakes and to give it another chance, but they could do better especially when it’s not busy.More

We come thru the area several times a year and wanted to try something new. We read the reviews and headed over. We weren’t disappointed. Food and service was great. Blueberry pancakes delicious and the French toast was too. My only complaint was the home...fries come with onions and peppers which I don’t like but my husband loved.More

It must have been an off day based on all the other reviews on here plus several “face to face” reviews. Service was very slow and one had to almost shout at the waitress and wave your coffee cup in the air to get refills....Considering there were only 4 other people besides the two of us, that is not a good sign of an enjoyable dinning experience, even if we are only talking breakfast. Eggs showed up well done rather than medium, toast was crunch but very lightly browned, almost as if it was left out all night (just guessing here and not making any claims of negligence). Home fries were just warm. The wife wanted crispy bacon and it showed up barely cooked. We sent it back and when it was returned, from all appearances, the cook dumped it off the plate onto the grill in a pile, almost burned one side and sent it back still in a pile with one side still not cooked well and other side burned. At least their AC works incredibly well. I enjoy a cool temperature setting, but even I was thinking of building a campfire beside the table to take the chill off. The atmosphere is a traditional 1950’s diner, but unfortunately, you can’t eat atmosphere. I do not see a return to this facility.More

We stopped in during Sharon's Waterfire event. Donna's is a small retro diner. The service was good, and the burgers and fries were very good too. The malt shake was very good as was the chocolate. We enjoyed our visit and will go back. Prices...are a bit on the high side. With gratuity it was close to 50.00 for burgers, fries and shakes for 2.More
