Sewickley is my sister's home what a beautiful town! We visit twice a year and the highlight everyday is having lunch at the Sewickley Cafe! The food is always fresh and the atmosphere is charming and the people are always welcoming!

I settled on the Sewickley Cafe as a great place to host a professional lunch for myself and my physician colleagues. The food was OK at best, and at the end of our meals, the self-proclaimed "owner" advised that OOPS, he only accepts cash. This meant that myself and five colleagues had to leave and seek out an ATM machine... More

Friends and I enjoyed lunch at The Café yesterday only to learn that it was changing owners at the end of August. So sad. It was a beautiful summer day and we were not able to enjoy the patio, unfortunately. The coveted outdoor space was filled with no table vacating any time soon. We compromised with a indoor table by... More

I've been going to the Cafe for over 12 years. I stopped three years ago after a terrible evening ... then I happened to be drawn back in by someone who said they wanted to go. It haunts me. I can't the stand the pretentious attitudes and mediocre food and lousy service. There are many other places to go in... More

The food we had was delicious, but they did not have chicken available that night. The service was also very friendly, as it was a slow night for them. Overall, we enjoyed eating our dinner outside in the nice weather.

My wife and I go to the cafe often for lunch. I always get the lobster club sandwich. It very well may be the best sandwich I've ever eaten in my life. Nice atmosphere in the dining room, and if the weather is nice you can sit outside on the patio. The wait staff is always friendly and the owner... More

I frequent the Sewickley Cafe and am always impressed with the high quality food, service, and ambience. The menu features unique tasty dishes won't find anywhere else. The Tomato Dill soup is amazing! Don, the owner, takes pride in offering suburb dishes made with high quality ingredients and is always available to say a friendly hello as he works his... More

Something has changed for the worse at this restaurant! I made reservations for a party of 4 on a Thursday evening, when we arrived we were the only table. Service at the beginning by a snotty, disinterested kid was terrible, until another nice waitress helped us with drinks and menu selections. The menu they have on their website is different... More

I stopped for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the Raspberry Walnut Chicken Salad. I am not completely sure of the name, but I am sure that I will order it again.

On New Year's Eve, my husband and I took our boys here while visiting from out-of-town. I grew up in the area and held Sewickley and its restaurants/shops in high regard, so I was confident in trusting the 4/5 stars The Café received from Yelpers. I couldn't have been more wrong in my assumption. Our experience was off to a... More
